I haven't even used this set yet and I can "feel" and see this is the BEST socket set and the LAST socket set I will ever need to purchase!!! I've never felt a ratchet or socket set like this before and I've bought many many sets over the years. You INSTANTLY can tell this set is built on a higher level of quality and durability. A bit clunkier, due to thickness of each socket...If you're looking for a cheap lightweight set, go to the dollar store; this isn't one of them. If all else fails, you can use this heavy ratchet or sockets for self defense against a burglar... really!! Lol UPDATED: It was everything I stated above and some!! Probably the last set I'll ever need.

The drivers are sturdy and of the high quality that I associate with DeWalt products. I'm very pleased with them. The case is garbage. It's poorly designed, wastes space, and it arrived broken. I've included a photo showing how one of the mounts snapped off. I'll likely transfer the drivers to another, much smaller and sturdier case. DeWalt does a fantastic job on most things, but this case is a true disappointment. Having said that, I feel this is still a good purchase.

We purchased this for our son for a Christmas gift, we have one and it is awesome to have around for sure! He has decided to convert over to Dewalt tools and we have been fans forever! We could not help but put this under the tree for him!

These are heavy duty Impact sockets and each socket comes embossed in its size. Granted I don't use these every day but they still look amazing even from rolling around on concrete or banging around on whatever project you're working on. The kit also comes with (2) 1/4 Hex to 1/2" Drive so you can attach it to your 1/4" Impact. Or you can simply get your 1/2" Ratchet and do them manually. They come in a classic DeWalt plastic casing that fits everything nicely. There are two additional mounting lugs to add 2 more sockets but they would have to be smaller diameter ones to fit everything in the case as width is limiting.

I bought this set a few years ago. I have waited to review it because the rest of these sockets is not when they are new, but rather after they have been used in all sorts of conditions over time. To say that these have passed that test would be an understatement. Moreover, there are actually very few signs of wear if you ignore the outside of the case. I have used these for everything from lug nuts on a golf cart to structural connections while framing. I have tried using typical sockets with my impact wrench, but the regular sockets perform poorly especially after repeated use when things start to hear up. I do wish this kit came with a tstak container or if there was a container where you could store this set along with sizes that are sold individualy.

Nice set was bit disappointed it doesn’t come with the the Ratchet and is a bit pricey but pleased with the set bought ratchet separately 👍🏻
