Calendula Cream

I rarely write reviews on Amazon due to lack of time but this time I'm so amazed at the results I got from this product that I felt I had to write about it and maybe help other mothers who, liked me, struggled to help their baby get rid of acne. I gave my daughter (who was 2 weeks old at the time) vitamin D drops for baby with nothing else in it than coconut oil acting as a carrier. This was based on the advice of several midwives and doctors as it has become the norm in Ireland in recent years to give vitamin D to babies and children. Even though my mother-in-law never gave any to her four healthy children, I thought that maybe since we get so little sun here, it could be of benefit to my daughter. Unfortunately after two doses of the vitamin D my daughter had a bad allergic reaction to it and broke out all over her cheeks, forehead and especially around her eyes. I then read that vitamin D acts as a hormone and can disrupt the endocrine system which is probably what happened. I started to clean her skin with cotton pads wet with camomile infusion and apply calamine lotion at night but the spots remained for weeks with some days being worse than others. I also gave her probiotics for babies daily for several weeks to try and help regulate her hormones but it did not make much of a difference to her skin. I researched a lot and found out that calendula is very effective at regulating sebum production and therefore soothing skin irritation. I read about this cream on a forum and after carefully checking out that all of the ingredients were natural, non toxic and could not possibly aggravate an irritated skin, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did ! This cream is very rich so you only need a small bit at a time which makes it last a long time. It smells wonderful and penetrates the skin easily. My daughter had very dry skin in addition to having acne and this was probably a result of using calamine lotion to avoid the spots getting infected. I started to use the cream only on her forehead where the skin was the dryest and within three to five applications over a day, her skin started to clear up and the dryness had gone. I used it again a few times the next day all over her face and at night her skin had completely cleared. I have never seen a cream be as effective and in such a short period of time ! My 6 weeks old baby has now finally recovered her beautiful and soft skin thanks to this miraculous cream ! I will certainly buy it again and recommend it to anyone having skin problems.

As others have said, I haven’t ever bothered to write reviews before...however i feel compelled to wish this. My son developed baby acne at 2 weeks and it has been getting progressively worse over the past 2 weeks with yellow crusts (cradle cap) forming over his entire face and head. He’s a little beauty but it was very upsetting to look at. I tried a couple of other creams which didn’t seem to do anything other than perhaps aggravate it. I read posts talking about this cream and thought it was worth a try. I kid you not, within a couple of hours the redness had gone down and the dry flakes disappeared. By day two both cradle cap and acne have pretty much completely disappeared. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. My baby’s skin is now so soft again. Great product.

My baby boy had baby acne when he was two weeks old. His skin was awful...really inflamed with red raised lumps with white heads. I tried everything medically suggested first before getting to my whits end and googling it. I come across a forum where a few mum's suggested this cream. Desperate for any kind of relief, I ordered it. Within a few hours of the first application, the redness of the rash came down dramatically. I didn't know whether it was just me being optimistic and believing other mum's stories calling it a miracle cream. I continued to use it for the next 3 days and within a week of the first application, the baby's acne had cleared up completely! I know people talk about the cost, but even with a weeks worth of application 4-5 times a day, the tub is still near enough full. I have recommended this to so many mum's already and will continue to do so as it has infact been a miracle cream for my son.

I purchased this for my baby daughter’s acne on her face. It was red and unsightly and after trying other creams including that prescribed by the GP I turned to Google and this item popped up. Expensive but highly rated I gave it a go. Wow! The inflammation went down within a few hours and a few days later her skin is much softer and the spots have all but disappeared. I will caveat this review by saying that in the same time period I have also cut out dairy but I don’t think that could be responsible for such a quick change in my daughter’s skin. Highly recommended despite the steep price tag, a little goes a long way and I will be using it on my own spots and blemishes!

Fantastic quality but it doesn’t help my perioral dermatitis

This cream has been a life saver... at around 9 weeks old my little girl got a rash all over her face and some dry patches on her legs and arms.... after trying diprobase from my GP.. aveeno...sheabutter... sheamoisture cream....E45 which all seem to make it much worse I had read quite a few articles/reviews on CB and thought why not have kinda tried everything I can think of why not try this has worked miracles love love it smells amazing and keep my baby's skin soft and moisturised use twice a day extra in the evening after her bath little goes a long way...only downside is wish they selled it in the uk however can't recommend highly enough

Bought this after being diagnosed with Periol Dermatitis omg amazing product calmed redness & itching within hours don't normally write reviews but hated this condion but this cream definitely helped bought it after days researching this condition & after cleansing with coconut oil toning with Apple cider vinegar then a natural yogurt face mask then this cream Amazing results it's definitely worth doing as this is an awful condition especially if like me you have always had good skin so please give it a go if like me u we're in tears looking at yourself in the mirror but £25 for tiny tub Trust me well worth it hope this helps

I'm not one for commenting, but I'm doing it, because the cream is really good for babies who have acne, it's a little expensive but it's worth it, I used it on my baby within three, acne has practically disappeared,

When my baby was just a few weeks old she started getting what everyone said was baby acne. But it got worse and worse so we took her to her pediatrician who said it could be a form of cradle cap on her face. She prescribed an anti fungal cream and said to keep it covered in an ointment 24/7. We started doing that and it cleared up in a few days. But then it kept trying to come back, and the anti fungal cream wasn’t helping. So I put ointment on it and that helped. We took her back to the pediatrician and she said it was probably just sensitive skin and to keep it hydrated with a good moisturizer. Well I was so sick of using ointment. It’s sticky and gets everywhere, baby was getting it all over her hands and into her eyes, it never soaked in and baby lotion wasn’t cutting it so I went on the hunt for a good non toxic gentle cream that would really be hydrating. I found this and read the reviews from other mama’s who said it helped their babies with the same issue. It also scored a 3 on the think dirty app (ewg scale) no the ingredients were very clean and thought I would give it a try. It is amazing. It’s very light but extremely hydrating. It is not oily at all. A tiny bit goes a long way and it keeps her skin feeling soft and moisturized for 24 hours. Since using this (a few months now) we have had NO BREAKOUTS! Which is saying a lot because she kept getting them every few weeks! I put it on her every morning or ever other morning because sometimes her face still feels soft and hydrated from the application the day before. I HIGHLY recommend this! It will last ya for sooo long too. Love this product.
