Love love this stand
I am a cross stitcher and for larger projects have always used a wooden universal stand with a scroll frame. However, I like to stitch while sitting in my Lazy Boy chair with my feet up and I couldn’t do that with the old frame. A friend recommended this one and what a difference!! The stand holds a scroll frame very well, you can lower or raise it to your desired height and the best thing is, you can swing it in front of you from the side, so I can sit with my legs up. It is easy to swing away when you want to get up, doesn’t take up much room and is easy to flip to the back of the project when you want to finish off or start a new thread. The price at first gave me a little pause, but it is absolutely worth every penny! I can use my scroll frames in it without any problems. I LOVE this stand!

Why didn't I buy this years ago?
Just like the title says - I should have bought this years ago! I've been making due with a "jury-rigged" PVC stand that I found instructions for online, but it wasn't the greatest option, so I saved up my birthday/Christmas money and bought this as a gift for myself. Best decision ever! It's sturdy and very adjustable for different angles. It works great with my Q-snaps for larger projects. I was a bit concerned about how to get to the back of the project to tie off threads, but if you loosen the one connector, it's easy to just flip it over. I have also seen some people say that with a larger project it can try to tip over. I haven't stitched anything large enough for this to be a problem, but you can stack books or something heavy on the base to prevent this. (I stitch in a desk chair, so I usually have my feet resting on it.) The only slight issue I had was that the base can be a bit scratchy on hardwood floors, but that was easily fixed with a set of furniture leg pads. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase (which came from another continent in less time than my normal orders from Amazon come from a few states away). Highly recommended!

Lowery Workstand
This stand is a little pricey but I can tell you it’s worth every single dollar!! I have bought numerous stands over the years but this one is hands down the very best stand I’ve used! My only regret is not having purchased it sooner and that’s no exaggeration!! I’m an extremely satisfied customer!!! I’m an older person and I was so relieved it is super easy to put together and also easy to move around.

Works like a charm to hold your stitching.
What can I say it's the perfect stand to hold my scroll frames and my stretcher bar frames. I can even accessorize it . It is perfect for me sitting in a chair and it is adjustable higher and lower and I can flip my work upside down to see the bottom and work there. Very high quality steel does the job.

For arthritis stitchers!
I love this stand. I have severe wrist and finger arthritis and so I thought I would try stitching two handed to see if it helps. It does, less movement and it actually makes me stitch faster. Easy to turn to back side and move out of way. Would recommend the long arm attachment though for ease in situating the hoop in front of you. Grips q snaps well. Why did I wait so long?

Best choice of what I found.
Does hold Q-snap frames slightly tilted. Didn’t notice it a few minutes after starting to work each time.

Worth the money
I was having so much pain from holding my cross stitch projects so I splurged and got the Lowery stand. It’s expensive so I hate to say it, but it is WORTH IT. not only is my pain gone, but I am now able to stitch faster by using both hands. It’s small enough to tuck out of the way when not in use while still doing a great job. It would need a weight on the base if using it freestanding, but it is very stable by just tucking it under the couch. The clamp works great even with my q-snaps! (Photo evidence attached lol) My only complaint is that the arm doesn’t reach out very far. My couch has a wider than average armrest, so my work is not directly in front of me. I don’t see this as a huge issue since it will be easy enough to buy a new bar and bend/cut it to my needs (perks of a DIY household!)

Great company!
Love it! very sturdy and easy to use! Would recommend this to anyone who does crafts! better than the wood or the clap with plastic parts! Looking forward to finding the light! Also ordered from the Very Crafty site from England and it was quick and I love the different patterns they have.
