one of the best books ever published on filmmaking
I was delighted to receive this fantastic book - it arrived early and in mint condition. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. One of the most revealing books ever published on the creative decisions behind a film. Knowing the film, you can trace all of Coppola's responses to Puzo's novel and how Coppola then planned to bring it to the screen.

Ultimate Godfather book
For anyone who is a Godfather fan this is the ultimate must have. Its like the holy grail for Godfather completist. Wonderful to have. Worth the price

This was a Xmas present for a massive fan of The Godfather films. It was very detailed with lots of script alterations, additions etc. My friend really like it.

Imprescindible para el cinéfilo.
Si eres cinéfilo, éste es tu libro: muy bien editado, permite entender el modo de trabajo de Coppola enfrentando un encargo que al finalizarlo le llevaría en volandas al olimpo cinematográfico del siglo XX. Sólo para quienes puedan leer en inglés textos no muy complicados: es magnífico repasar el texto literario con las anotaciones a mano de Coppola, profusamente estampadas en las fotocopias de la novela de Mario Puzo, su primera edición, convertidas en campo de trabajo para rodar su primera obra maestra.
