We laughed we cried. It was all happily ever after. The good and wholesome got their just desserts and the less good were shown good grace. What’s not to like!

A historical classic, and a must read!

I enjoyed this classic novel once I achieved the halfway mark! But I'm not that interested in the upper class setting and characters. I prefer something a bit more gritty. Charlotte Bronte or Elizabeth Gaskell. That said without the determination and talent of JA their novels may not exist.

This is like the 12th copy of this book I own. I still want more copies. This verison I specifically bought to annotate and hope to get the rest of the books by Jane Austen to also annotate.

Why didn't I read this sooner ? This book was amazing,I think I was quite intimidated to start as it was a classic, so I'm my mind that meant I was going to have to look up every other word but that was not the case ! I can safely say this will be a book I shall find myself rereading very often and it will soon become a new comfort book for me, joining the Anne of Green Gables series.

Like every perfect love story, where the couple initially can’t stand each other but eventually realises they were mistaken about one another, and it all leads to a true and deeper love—not to mention the other forces working against their union. Superbly written!

My favorite book ever!

i like it a lot but for some reason it’s going slow for me to read compared to other books🤷🏻‍♀️ idk why but i still enjoy it!
