This is a replacement for the old one which is about 8 years old and well used. These are excellent garden toys for my dogs.

Sitting outside on an unusually hot May day, watching my border collie play with this toy (in the shade), I decided to have a look and see when I bought it…June 2017, and it has lived outside ever since. The toy was originally for my first border collie and has successfully survived my now nearly 4 year old current BC’s puppyhood. Excellent longevity and value

My dog loves this toy and plays with it every day. He has not destroyed it to date. Good quality product slightly weighty for carrying back and forth whilst playing fetch. It bounces and soft for dogs to use, easy for dogs to grip. After a few goes off fetch you can see him become tired so to do this a couple of times a day along with his daily walks helps to keep him fit. We play football and my dog loves the interaction he gets with this toy. After play he carry’s this toy back into the house to put with his other toys.

Saw these at a local market for £20, the lady advised they were really strong and dogs would really struggle pulling them apart. Insert my Dog Honey who annihilated this thing within a couple of hours, it held up quite well I think and was definitely worth the £10 paid. She appeared to have great fun with it. Being a rugby ball shape it gave a rather unpredictable bounce which she was very happy to chase after. Wouldn't pay £20 for it again but picked it up on Amazon for £10.

I have a boxer dog that loves toys but with his jaw being so powerful he easily destroys toys by accident. I brought him this its so tough and he loves it. With him having a short nose he can easily pick it up and chuck it around in play. Highly recommend, they do an orange one as well. I brought that about 10 years ago, 3 different boxer have played with over the years and its still going strong !

We lost our 14-year-old German Shepherd in the summer. This photo was taken in his last days, and even then, he was still trying to chase his ball. He absolutely adored these balls. I just checked my Amazon order history and realized I bought four of them over four years — that’s impressive for such a big, strong-jawed dog! Usually, toys would last only an afternoon with him. This ball is made of strong, durable rubber that’s well-made yet flexible enough to withstand heavy chewing. If you have a big, tough chewer, these balls are definitely worth it.

This is very heavy and quite big but puppy likes chewing it. Hard rubber but not too hard and good for teething. She likes that it moves while chewing and she can hold and push with her paws and rock it around. Think she will grow into it when she's quite a bit bigger because it is very heavy and would give her a good knock if it hit her. It arrived grubby and think it may have been a returned item. Didn't realise until after she had had her first sniff and chew and picked it up to see the amount of damage to the rubber bobbles given her baby teeth are like razors. Just praying because she has not had her second vaccinations yet so have removed 2 stars because if returned, should have been cleaned and sanitised before sending out again.

Our staffie is a world class heavyweight destructive chewer. He's been more interested in taking out his stress and getting his chew thing on with this ball than playing with it, but it's been amazingly tough to destroy for a soft chew toy. If your dog favours chewing for stress relief or enrichment, this is definitely worth a go. Plus the bits they do manage to get off seem likely to be small, soft, non pointy and 'go right through' without a problem if they do inadvertently swallow them. I also feel happier having him chewing this than a solid hard nybone like chew toy as he's now 10 and I think it's giving him the same chew kick but cleaning rather than wearing down his teeth. Just don't expect it to be indestructible, because it's not, but very well worth the money in my opinion. I'll definitely be buying another one when he finally reduces his current one to bits too small to bother with.

Estoy encantada. Es el primer juguete que a mi boxer le dura más de 10 minutos. Es duro y de momento irrompible. Y el está aún más encantado. Lo único es que pesa un poco, pero a el eso no le importa. 100% recomendable.

Muy resistente, perfecta para perro grande

Unser Exemplar wiegt 823g (gewogen mit einer Küchenwaage, Varianz +/- 1g), ist 26cm lang und 13,5cm hoch (alles ca-Angaben), also sicher kein Spielzeug für die ersten 8 bis 12 Monate, weil es doch eine Kante zu schwer ist. Durch das Gewicht ist es auch nicht unbedingt geeignet, in der Wohnung geworfen zu werden (schon gar nicht, wenn es sich nicht um eine Erdgeschosswohnung handelt), aber damit wäre auch schon der einzige Kritikpunkt erwähnt. Der Rest ist purer Spaß. Für beide Seiten, denn dieses Spielzeug eignet sich sowohl fürs Werfen und Apportieren als auch als Zerr- und Kauspielzeug. Als Herausforderung lassen sich zudem noch Bälle, größere Kauknochen u.ä. in den Ball drücken… Zur Haltbarkeit: Nach etwa 6 Monaten täglichen Spieleinsatzes bei einem inzwischen gute 2 Jahre alten GR hat es zwar die eine oder andere Blessur davongetragen, aber ich bin durchaus zuversichtlich, dass es doch noch mindestens 1 oder 2 Jahre halten wird. Nicht unerwähnt sollte bleiben, dass mir beim Auspacken nicht der unbedingte Wunsch aufkam, es sofort wieder zurückzuschicken: nicht die Spur eines üblen Chemiegestanks, die Fellnase hat kurz daran geschnuppert und wollte denn auch sofort damit spielen (und meiner ist da ziemlich zurückhaltend, wenn die Chemie nicht stimmt). Fazit: Nichts für kleinere Hunde, aber sollte es jemals aussortiert werden müssen, wird sofort ein neues gekauft.
