Transistor Blast

Having discovered XTC three decades too late, I've been making up for lost time collecting their albums. 'Transistor Blast' is an excellent collection of various live BBC appearances before they become exclusively a studio band. The 4 CDs cover different periods of their stage career, and the recordings aren't half bad. The sheer power and musicianship is stunning - all in the service of great, great songs. I bought this set secondhand via Amazon, and it was in terrific condition. I'm well chuffed!

今や存在も確認できないXTCのBBCにおけるスタジオライブの貴重な音源です。主宰のアンディ・パートリッジは事情があって、活動中にライヴで演奏する事をやめてしまいました。故にこのライヴ音源はかなり貴重なお宝アイテムです。お値段もそれなりに高騰していますし、「この値段なら」とお財布の紐が緩みそうな時はすぐに購入した方が良いですよ。本当に買って良かったと思います。

Prodotto ricevuto in buone condizioni, come da descrizione, tra l'altro di non facile reperibilità. Riguardo ai contenuti non mi sbilancio essendo un grande ammiratore degli XTC, e sarei troppo di parte. Comunque, un'ottima compilation dal vivo da parte del gruppo di Andy Partridge, consigliata senz'altro ai completisti e ai fan. Per chi vuole iniziare a conoscere il gruppo, consiglierei qualche album della discografia e poi magari più avanti scoprire le sessions BBC
