Rolson 60967 Drain Rod Set, 12 pc

Not a nice job but a satisfying one, my drain was blocked with fat which my crazy mum had poured down the sink after Christmas Dinner, sure enough it hardened and then blocked. Only one concern pretty light and the end bits felt a bit wobbly but good value for what I paid, would have been nice if it included a bag to hold it all together!

Does the job it was made to do and eastbto put together yip I was happy with it cleared out drains in an instant.

We’re ok for the price, quality isn’t great, but did the job. Watch out for the plastic bung, as it only screws on, & seems a little insecure. I’ll be putting a self tapping screw to hold it firmly in place the next time I use them.

Did the job quickly and efficiently. Outside has been blocked for a long time and after using a mountain of different deblockers and chemicals over the past few months I finally realised a tool was necessary. So glad I found this, worked a treat and the drain is now completely block free. The only small thing I'd say is it seems a bit excessive to have quite so many lengths of pole. But perhaps I'm just not we'll versed in drain lengths! Mine only needed two lengths before it hit the bottom, so the other eight arent useful for me personally and just take up space. None-the-less, an excellent product and I really recommend!

Whilst rodding the drain under my house, the rod thread snapped whilst in the drain . I had to make a retrieval claw to get it out... the thread ends are made from poor quality metal that is very thin... absolutely unfit for the purpose. Waste of money! And time. I'll be using these rods as gardening poles from now on....

I had a blockage,and,it went around a corner,so,i threw 2,or 3 buckets of water to flush things out a bit,and sent the end like a cork screw in.When i had cleared the straight run,i put the round disc end on,put 3 buckets down,and pushed the disc to the 90 degree corner.With some repeats of this,i cleared around the bend,without going around it,kind of using water hydraulic power.I got the worst of the sludge out,then put a few more buckets down from the drain,which is after the 90 degree bend.So,a good kit,and you may even do blockages around the bends.A good product.

They are a bit flimsy, easy to bend to the point they feel like they will snap, the plunger is a little oversize also, but I did unblock the drain although not sure if they will last more than a handful of uses, ok for the price

A month before I ordered these, I paid a professional £200 to unblock my drains. Within a month they were blocked again after 18 years of working fine. The rods were used, with great success. Although we didn’t have f cry cameras we ascertained that perhaps the blockage was with our neighbours drains. So on a Sunday morning, armed with our rods, we were able to ensure a through job and now everything empties into the septic tank. The purchase of these rods has saved our neighbour £200. We are now known as the ‘cheaper option’, for drain clearance, in our village and I shall be putting these rods to good use. It’s a shame my husband is not so willing as after all they still need someone to utilise them. Lol 😂 Well done Amazon for delivering within 2 days.

Very useful but was missing the plunger end which would have been more useful. Unfortunately there does not seem to be anyway to contact amazon or the seller about this problem.
