ANTSANG Merino Wool Hiking Socks, Crew Boot Work Socks for Men Women

I recently got these so will write this review about wearing them about four times. To”test” them, I singled out one pair to wash and wear versus using them all. They are worn for the entire day and washed/dried before using again. When I first got them, right away I really liked the colors. They are somehow prettier than the pictures convey. Very great winter looking colors. Goes well with Fall outfits. I wear a women’s size 10 shoes and these socks fit just fine. My feet are narrow so I can only write that review from that perspective. They slide on just fine and are easy to take off. It’s frustrating after wearing socks an entire day to struggle to take them off at night but these ones slide right off. Living in the mountains it can be very chilly and hard to get my feet warm, but I love how these socks keep me warm whether I’m outside or inside. I’ve worn them inside, kinda like house slippers, and find that I can wear them for an entire day without my feet or legs getting itchy from dry skin. I’ve worn them outside when I’m out and about and also find that they have kept my feet dry even on a day it was lightly raining. I can’t stand to walk around and have rain around my ankles and then deal with wet socks, but these socks were great at keeping my ankles dry. Even though they have wool in them, they are not itchy at all but soft. Keep in mind there are a wool blend versus being all wool. However, they have more wool in them than the socks at the stores I was shopping at in town. I love love love joy they keep their shape after going through the washer and dryer. They did not shrink at all! I also love how they are a thicker sock which makes them feel high quality. Handy down, they function great. I’m pretty heard on my socks, doing everything from hiking to gardening to wearing them in the house and outside on the driveway without shoes. It will be interesting to see how these perform long term.

Finally, a company that knows how socks should fit. I feel like Goldilocks, since the first pair I ordered were too thin. More like "dress" socks, or at least for summer, not winter in Montana, so returned them. The second pair were totally ridiculous, too heavy to wear with shoes. The toe seam was way to thick and harsh, causing chaffing on my foot. And too wide , causing my foot to slip and slide around, so returned those also. But then this set was just perfect! They are so warm and cozy, soft, comfortable, and I don't even notice the toe seam. They slide on my foot easily and snug up without feeling too tight or binding. The tops stay up, don't slide down or leave those sock marks on my legs. Haven't washed them yet, so will have to wait and see how that goes.

The wool is moisture wicking, warm in winter, cool in summer. Comfy, no shrinkage. Only downside is that they're pretty fragile and wear out pretty quickly

I love these socks. My feet were nice and warm last night. great!!! come above the ankle but not as far as shown in pictures. no need. I like these and highly recommend them for cold feet!!

I've used these socks for the past year now. I wear these exclusively every day- running, walking, working, church, etc. I've worn these on trail runs up to marathon distance and three day, 60 mile hikes with no blisters. My athlete's foot has also been much improved since switching to wool socks. My family likes these so much, we've ordered 10 packs of them over the past year. Highly recommend.

I have not experienced these socks shrinking in the washer and dryer. They are comfortable to wear in all seasons. Wearing these socks have eliminated my foot odor issues. My foot size is 6, so they are a little big on my feet.

I like the socks they are warm and nice looking, good quality. My feet don’t get sweaty and they are comfortable.. they don’t shrink and regular washable. BUT I don’t like that they really aren’t compression socks and they slide down inside my boots and I have clumps of socks on my feet. I’m very disappointed with that. I was going to send them back but I decided I didnt want to go through the bother. But as I write this I’m standing on clumps of socks inside my boots.

I really like these socks. They are a great light to medium weight for everyday use. They are not a dense weave so they don’t last as long as some brands that are 5x the price but are very comfortable and a great value. I just bought my third pack!

I compared this pack with some Danish Endurance (DE) socks I have and they come out of it very well. Firstly the fitment is snug but not tight on my size 10 feet, the DE's are tighter because of the tighter weave. They are a little lighter than the DE's bit not by much. The quality of stiching etc is comparable between the two and the warmth is the same. These have a instep stretch bit which is good and are sold with a higher merino wool content than the DE's which is difficult to check. I wear mine generally and always for dog walking and golf; if you were a serious hiker etc then probably these socks would not be suitable. So an all round a quality sock, in great colours and way cheaper than other well known brands which have washed up ok and have retained their shape after 2-3 washes.
