BabySecurity Electric Plug Socket Cover, 1 Pack, Double, White

So far so good. Crazy easy to install, nice and secure. 1 year old was obsessed with turning the WiFi off, well not anymore!!

Bought to cover a combined oven switch and mains socket which had been fitted to the back of the cupboard above the oven. On several occassions we'd lost power due to items in the cupboard being pushed too far back, moving the switch to off. After having to seek out the oven instruction manual to reset the clock and the microwave manual to reset the default 30 beeps (why Neff?) to 3, on too many occassions, this looked like an ideal solution. Happy to say it was easy to fit, works as required and installed on a surface pattress without issue. Recommended.

I have a 3 year old autistic boy and he likes to turn on and off switches. This switch happens to be the TV's one so it would have been a matter of time before the TV screen would have probably burnt out from being turned on and off. I was originally going to put it on the flat socket but whoever put the sockets there thought it was a good idea to stick two together, I wouldn't have been able to get it open so had to use the one that sticks out of the wall. It was very easy to fit it, just unscrewed it a little and put the box in, starting from the bottom first and then it clicks in from the top. It can be fiddly sometimes with the two buttons on the side and sometimes needs a firm push to lock it but it's doing an amazing job, my son now turns on and off the original socket were the TV plugs in and his puzzled to why it isn't turning on or turning off lol.. TV is now safe and everyone is happy

Bought this product to cover plug sockets in toddlers bedroom near the bed. It was easy to install following the helpful instruction video and has worked very well. Not only does it act as a deterrent (my son has no interest in what’s inside the ‘box’) but also he would not be able to open the box to access the plugs due to the safety clips which is very reassuring. I think this is an excellent product, it doesn’t stand out and so blends in with the decor, good value for money and I would recommend. It was just what I was looking for.

I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading other reviews it seemed a mixed bag. I ordered anyway and am glad I did this has exceeded all my expectations. It is made from a very sturdy plastic, to open you have to use both hands to press in two circular “buttons” which releases the lid. I wanted this purely for aesthetic reasons to hide some black plugs on my white kitchen wall but after fitting it I am happy to recommend to parents as a plug cover as it is solid! This is probably down to ‘fit’ rather than product to be honest. I have an mk double plug, I loosened the screws on the plug and wedged the flaps on this unit behind and tightened up the screws again. It was a neat fit and I was able to get my screws tight this means it isn’t going anywhere. I am more than happy with my purchase it looks good and performs even better, I am happy to recommend to others.

Does the job (just about). Its fair flimsy plastic that bends quite easily. I have another one from Amazon (slightly more expensive) which is significantly better quality than this.

This was an easy to fit socket cover. Bought for my mother who has dementia - and was sometimes turning off the fridge/freezer at the wall instead of (or as well as) the microwave in the next socket. It won't stop a determined person from getting in, but the cover clicks firmly enough into place and hides the switch from view. It's worked well to prevent further accidents and has paid for itself in terms of avoiding spoiled/wasted food.

after my son of 3 found it funny to disconnect every plug from socket i decided i needed a quick fix so ordered this item,it arrived immediatelyit looked toeye flimsy and before even fittingto socket the push side buttons to apparently open the thing didnt even line up , i thought maybe once attached to the socket it may align but how wrong i was , i unscrewed my socket and attached to wall as described , the box cover would not close even a 10month old could have just lifted it up and accessed the plugs still i thought maybe be out of sight out of mind for my 3 yr old within 2 mins he opened it and tugged it gently and it came out from behind the socket even though it was fastened correctly , and yup low n behold atraight back to plugs and unplugged , this item is shoddy and flimsy and not work the money at all , i may of opened the bin and put £10 straight into it knowing the lid of the bin was a closer tighter fit than this described item = in honesty pass on by from this item save yourself that £10 or if u dont believe me spend £10 better still just throw your money in bin ..save on delivery of this item - very disappointed
