Bought this as a present a year ago for someone who was serious about petanque. They are pleased with them. They have been used on sand, grass and more recently on gravel and have stood up to the test of all three and I have lost on all three! There are of course some scuff marks now, but nothing untoward and still perfectly serviceable. For older people they may need to wear specs, I know this is ageist, as there are narrow lines to demarcate the boule for each player which are not always obvious. They are not so heavy that a 5 year old can't lob them either but still a good weight. The bag is ok but has gone a little tatty and stretched. The marker string is quite useful for the close calls.

I can't understand the negative reviews that say these aren't good quality. I think they're beautiful quality and frankly would still be good value at twice the price ! Definitely worth the money I paid and I would highly recommend them !

Boules are nicely presented in a canvas case. They are a good weight and great quality. They took an age to arrive though and tracking was sketchy to say the least. Not the seller's fault, but worth considering if you need them for a specific event like I did!

A Christmas present for my nephew happy with my purchase

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend during the summer, we met with friends to try them out and when we threw out the jack for the first time a magpie imediately flew off with it. We were in disbelief! The BOULES are well made and we got lots of use in the park and on the beach. They did scratch a bit but only cosmetic. I would definately recommend this product fun game and nice gift that will last years.

Nice but looks like will mark easy as only played with a few times. But they were not for playing professionally only just for fun so price was on low side which I am glad otherwise they would’ve gone back.
