One day my son told me: - I want "that thing" which you can listen people from far away. Took me some time to figure out what he's talking about. When this happened I didn't think twice. I bought this product because I thought this not bad price like for a "toy" for seven years old boy. When I tried this first time I just couldn't believe how good this microphone is. It works well beyond my expectations. We just changed the headphones for something better but there is no need for that. One supplied with it are good enough. Good fun for hours. We love it...I think I do more like him 😂

Sound quality is OK, probably the best you can expect at this price. I live in an urban area, so noise from traffic can be quite dominant in the playback, even if I turn the frequency focus ring (which, with its very flat ridges, and being quite stiff, is difficult to turn - I would exchange this for a knob). It's a massive pain inserting the battery for this, as you have to unscrew the lid, fish out the terminal, and try to fit the battery back into the case around the lid hinge (the wires threaten to break every time). I look instead at my Fishman preamp for my guitar, which has a click in battery case lid, which holds the battery against the contacts at the end of the case. So much simpler to apply. IMAGES: 1. I ordered the Parabolic Microphone for my nephew who is a keen bird watcher and loves listening to them. In fact if he could he would do nothing else. Unfortunately I have had to return the item because it is just too big for my nephew, he could just about hold it and kept saying why didn’t you get me a small one. So he wasn’t comfortable with it. To be honest it was larger than I thought it was. You know when you see photographs of an item and when you get it, it’s way smaller , well not in this case. This item is well made and sturdy, the headphones fit well, but the volumn button is a little hard to turn. It was packaged well and arrived on time, just a shame that in this case it was too big.

A complete waste of money. I bought this for my husband to listen to the birds singing in the morning in our orchard which is right next to our house. Before using it for that we tested it in the house. My son was playing loud music in the next room and our ears could hear it but not this device. So I sent him outside to talk while I listened from the window - NOTHING. In fact the only time we heard anything was when I opened my laptop and put on a movie - and it did amplify the sound. The problem with that was that the laptop was right next to me and while amplifying the sound you got white noise along with it. I could also turn the volume up on my laptop to the level of amplification so this was a waste of time. Do not waste your money on this device!

Brilliant little mic & the monocular lens works really well too. All in all a great product that does exactly what it says. Very happy!

Cheaply made, volume control damaged out of the box had to repair, the noise level through headphones is dangerous too loud when switching on/off, this could cause potential damage to anyone’s ears NOT suitable for children, this product is not in use and will be discarded once I can get to the refuge tip.

It works well

It’s not bad only slightly better than normal hearing it is great for listening to birds and traffic if that’s what you are looking it for. I’m not convinced for the spies in us all lol but needs tweaking on the development side for a directional mic it picks up more surrounding noise than it should which can be distracting. But not bat for it’s price

Ottimo articolo funziona benissimo e utilizzato per l'ascolto di animali, quali movimenti di cinghiali nei boschi o ascolto in genere di animali selvatici.

Gerät ist super. Die Verstärkung ist überraschend gut. Leider gelingt es mir nicht über den Kopfhöreranschluss das Signal an das Smartphone (Über y-Adapter ) anzusteuern. ES kommt ein Ton an. Schade wäre eine gute Zusatzfunktion wenn man das Signal über das Smartphone aufzeichnen könnte. Benutze das Gerät im Dschungel um Tierstimmen zu hören.
