I am very pleased with the generator. I decided for the first start that I would use the cord rather than the electric starter and it fired away on the third pull and the effort needed for the pull was not excessive. My only disappointment was with the instruction manual - on the font it says it is for the Evo 1000, 2000, and 3000 models. Inside it gives instructions for both the 1000 and 2000 but no where are there any specific references to the 3000. So I e-mailed Evo who very quickly got back to me with another instruction manual for me to print out. This was identical to the one I had - so no more use. However there was another sheet that warned me that the battery had been disconnected for transit, and what to do. Surely this should have been included in the packaging. Having done a bit of experimenting, I think that the engine for the 3000 has all the characteristics of the 2000 (i.e. oil capacity, positioning of various things and what needs to be serviced). To save this confusion why have Evo not put in the maual simply that all instructions for the 2000 also refer to the 3000.

After a shaky start due to the manual not covering the right model, I received excellent support from the sales team and am now delighted with the generator, particularly the remote start and "Eco" mode.

Cracking product, out of the box connect battery fill with oil so easy with the filling jug and tube supplied. prime and start remote or key the remote works at 120 feet not tried any further just what i was looking for. brought slightly cheaper than on Amazon with free delivery.
