So far I'm very impressed with these. I have tried many herbal remedies and suppliments over the past year to help with low mood and low energy. I currently take 5htp and magnesium at night which really helps me sleep. But I was still feeling a bit irritable at times through the day, I've had low energy for ages and with winter coming on I could feel my mood getting worse and worse. I've heard of people getting SAD in the dark winter months and definately think it affects me. I already take a multivitamin which gives me my vitamin d, so I went online to search for a natural remedy for depression. I have tried rodiola before, which gave me energy but made me very irritable. And other things like maca powder which didn't help. When I read about tumeric, I was a bit sceptical but willing to try it. I was surprised to find so many curcumin products out there! From longvida to theracurmin to bcm95 and bioperin. From what I read (a few weeks ago now) I think it was longvida which looked the best for depression as it claims to cross the blood - brain barrier. But the longvida curcumin was too expensive and would not arrive for a few weeks, so after search online and checking reviews I went for this one. I started with 1 tablet and didn't have any adverse effects so quickly upped the dose to 2 in the morning and 2 at night, taken with omega 3 fish oil as I read it is best to take with some oil. Its only been 11 days but over the past few days I have definately been a bit happier, I don't feel as lonely as I did, I'm not as irritable with the kids. I'm more likely to see the funny side now. I feel more balanced. I dont feel a ton of energy but i dont feel particularly tired either. And my cough has gone away, i had had it for months! Ive also not had a cold yet - with 2 kids i was catching a new cold every week or 2, it has been a nightmare how run down i have been! Certain things used to get me down, and now they don't! I might think of something that would normal hurt my feelings or make me tearful and feel lonely, but now its like it goes over my head and i dont linger on the negative feeling for too long. It's weird but I don't feel as if I could be making this up in my head, I haven't felt this way in a long long time, possibly ever. I just hope the effects don't wear off. I will update if they do. I might try the longvida version in future but until then I will definately continue with these as they are good quality and value. Apparently tumeric helps with arthritis and pain and even altzimers, after what I have experienced, I wouldn't put it past it!

Excellent product

Opening the box: You get a good number of tablets that would last you over a month. Administering: Easy to swallow, no issues. Performance: This is the sixty four thousand dollar question in respect to supplements as I could be feeling a difference from a sugar pill. I have restless legs syndrome which causes me leg pain, I would say though I did feel a massive difference in pain levels reducing, however a note of caution as it may have not been anything to do with this supplement. Overall: I took this turmeric for about 6 weeks and found it helped, though I did notice my acid reflex did get quite bad and I stopped taking these, however again this might not have had anything to do with the supplement. I would recommend if you wanting a good quality turmeric supplement, just try it out and see how you get on.

I don't know if this is strictly due to the turmeric, but recent blood tests show that my inflammation markers are lower than I expected. These pills are easy to swallow and good quality turmeric. I've been taking 4 a day as I have an inflammatory condition and was trying to reduce use of NSAIDs. I don't use any anti-inflammatories any more, but bare in mind I've been using other medical methods to reduce my inflammation too. If you have the money and know that inflammation is a factor of your pain, then I would talk a GP and if they agree that it's safe to take this, it may very well be worth a try. I've not had any major pain relieving miracles, but knowing that my inflammation markers are the lowest ever, I can't help but think maybe this has been helping.

Hi there m i was buying it as cancer preventing , but knew it was good for everything . i also was suffering hot flashes at day times ==> not swetting only had to take of any jumper if i had on , lasted only minute or so , then i had to put it back on ;) but may main thing was sleepless nigts , i started a week of with 1 capsul a day then 2 a day + i was using 3 Pippets of Jojoba oil with 1 pippet of rankincense oil and all in 3 weeks ==> i was getting better @ the end of my 2nd week and now fpr the 1st time I slept as a baby and no mor hot night sleeps , no more tossing arround and looking for cold pillow or cool sheet to sleep on ..... amazing ! PS, I bought it also for my son as he had a bad back from trauma by bmx and he is taking only 1 a day but says it makes him go 4 wee , it dis more to start with , i think myself im not doing it that often as I use to even that im taking now 2 capsules . yes and my son not sure yet but says that he is fine , no more back pain so far ....and i only said that he shouldn`t stop taking it and far more better than ibuprofen !!!
