Quality product
Pros: Item was quickly dispatched and well packaged, I received this baby 2 days later :D Good material, doesn't look as flimsy as I expected. Great working space. Small enough to put on a small table but big enough to work around with. But this is depend on each person, I suppose (I use this to work on comic, 11x17inches paper) Easy to use. Highly practical. It's a great tool for details and will save lot of time drawing different lines. (It helps me do the border much faster) Cons: Not very portable. The titler doesn't slip, but they can fall off the slot if not careful Overall, despite minor drawback, I think it worth the money. Take good care of it and it will help you along the way a lot too.

Excellent
I bought this for my son recently, and it hasn't changed much in 33 years! Still excellent and very good quality for it's price (£39.99). Only noteworthy improvement is that the slideable T-square has clips on both ends (this only applies horizontally in landscape orientation). Don't be put off by the current pictures shown on the Amazon website. The portrait (plan) view omits the clip on the end of the T-square, whereas the isometric"ish" view shows it. Mine certainly has clips on both ends. Another mistake is that the picture of the included set-square has a protractor stencil slot shown. Thankfully, it doesn't have that (which in my experience is a waste of time). The supplied set-square is perfect for 90 and 45 degree lines, which is all it should be used for. You need a separate adjustable set-square, a separate protractor, and a compass to use a drawing board effectively for engineering drawings! (BTW - Don't buy the "Rotring Rapid Adjustment Compass" - see my other review!)

Good quality of manufacture but needs instructions
The drawing board itself is of very high quality and I would rate it as a 5 star product if the manufacturer had included some instructions with it. Unfortunately there aren't any. Not many instructions are needed with a drawing board like this but there are some scale markings that are unexplained and some illustration of how to use the protractor integrated into the ruler would have been helpful. I will eventually work all this out for myself and I would still recommend the product but a manufacturer seeking to achieve excellence could go a little further than this. A link to a video demonstrating its use would be sufficient.

Good vfm
Yet another great product from Rotring. I have had one of these for over thirty years and recently had to replace it due to no fault of its own. A quick and easy tool, portable convenient and well made, and as long as the paper is properly fixed at all points and not overly heavy, an accurate drawing / planning aid. And NO SOFTWARE NEEDED. ( Lol )

For the price point pretty disappointing
I bought this as when I was at school (over 30 years ago!) I had a Rotring Rapid drawing board so there is a touch of nostalgia for me with the brand. I was adamant I wasn't gong to buy the 'college' version and actually had to do a bit of shopping around to find a 'rapid' one that was in-stock and available fairly quickly. My main disappointment is that it is very flimsy for the £90 I paid for it and it feels a little cheap - the little legs you can put on it to slope it don't fit that great either - this is a German company/brand and whilst this product is probably manufactured in the Far East I'd have expected more from this brand. The 45 degree set sqaure that come with it feels not great either Plus points - the parallel motion is accurate and the paper holding clamps work well but can feel a little clunky. So what can I say? Well it's not the 1990s anymore so maybe I had greater expectations than I should have as to manufacturing quality - still does the job and looks cool on my desk though

Probably the best drawing surface out there for the price
Probably the best purchase I've ever made, the tilted perspective really makes it much easier to draw and the drawing surface is great, holds paper well and multiple pages of you're using tracing paper etc. The ruler system is particularly helpful when plotting out the dimensions of a drawing and really helps for geometric or madala art, very high quality would reccomend to anyone thinking about buying a drawing board.

Poor Quality
All i can say is i suppose it will do. Pretty cheap quality for the price. Legs constantly fall off. When i can afford something better it will be promptly binned.

Excellent A3 drawing board
I had a previous model of this board and have been happy with it for years. Time to replace I thought, things must have moved on. Indeed they have. I have used it on a project already and the accuracy is spot on. Wherever the slide is locked it is accurate and being able to use it on both sides of the board saves much time. In short it is a joy to use and much faster than my old Rapid.
