Talking Clock with Temperature and Back Light, Wake-up Alarm, Silver/Yellow

I bought this talking clock for an elderly mother in law. It was easy to set up even without using the supplied instructions, i liked the fact it came with batteries already installed. My mother in law loves the clock as she can hear the time and the fact it's easy to move from the lounge to her bedroom. Great product would recommend!

Great clock pleased to find it can be easily set up... hold the set key once to enter and get into time setting mode ...very pleased to get a talking clock on the hour again after breaking my last one and to be able to change it from 24 hours back to16 hours talking hourly clock, as this is ideal as it is a tad loud....its easy to do by pressing the up button.... the talking hour with temperature can be easy turned off or just set it to an hourly chime as all stated in the helpful instructions .....ideal for the elderly.

Nice clock , found it a little hard to use , to get time on it followed instructions but still found it hard to get to right time .

Very easy to use and a great asset for my elderly Mum to use.

My wife is registered severely sight impaired and we ordered this as a new bedside clock for her, replacing the large digit one she can no longer see. The product photos make it look as if the screen is large and clear, but in fact the whole clock is very small, much smaller than her existing one. It does have the ability to speak the time, but she wanted something she could see as well so as not to have to make it speak in the middle of the night. So we've decided to use it elsewhere in the house, but not what we were looking for. Finally, the instructions are tiny! Come on verbalise, if you're selling to the partially sighted market where are the large print instructions....

Attractive shape and colour but voice not needed all the time and as could not see how to turn it off found it irritating. Time keeping ok

what a piece of crap does not keep time does not give the correct reading do not buy when you press for the time it is very very loud which is good if you are hard of hearing but apart from that nothing works properly, gave it one star because i liked the colour

1) It speaks the time - a vital feature, so you don't have to open your eyes and look at a phone or clock, the light from which can wake you up and make it difficult to go back to sleep 2) A choice of nice melodies to wake up to 3) As well as speaking the time it speaks the temperature. This is useful because sometimes I find myself unable to sleep then when I hear the temperature I realise it is because the room is too warm or too cold. 4) Good quality - I have take this travelling with me and it has not got broken in the suitcase 5)It has a big button on the top to press to hear the time, unlike some which only have a small button 6) When you press the button it also illuminates the dial so you can see it - useful when setting the alarm in the dark 7) Attractive design

Perfect for distracted OCD or Adult attention deficit disorder. I purchased 2 clocks from Amazon, the "TALKiNG Alarm", and this one. The Verbalise talking alarm has a loud volume, especially compared to the TALKiNG alarm clock brand which is barley audible. This little yellow lightweight clock is well made unlike the made in China plastic clocks. Every function works at a 5 star rating exactly as described. The only thing that would make this clock better is a USB port and charging cable, that way the Verbalise company could put a brighter backlight in this model and allow the batteries to be used only when needed. My favorite functions are the hourly announcement of time and date/temp display included. Also, the hourly chime that can be set as a talking function is only available from 6:00 a.m. To 9:00 p.m. Not sure why the company would limit that function. Overall, buy it, its a great product! Bright and cheery color unlike the drab TALKiNG Alarm clock brand.

Excellent quality product. It works great and the voice is very clear. Excellent for my mother in law who is completely blind. She loves it.

Cheaply made. Worked fine for about 2 months, but stopped talking when pressing the button(s) to activate the voice. I wish I could get an old-school blue & grey datexx talking clock again. That thing lasted for years...
