Will this food help my long haired dachshund’s itchy ears?

For dogs with diagnosed food allergies - how quickly after the start of this diet did you see improvement? (reduction in itching/ chewing legs)

My Westie was started on this by her vet for her doggy IBS, we saw an improvement in the first 2 weeks, she remained on this food well into her old age when we finally had to have her put to sleep at a grand age of 17 and a half. Her tummy condition remained stable the whole time she was on this diet.
