Q: Can it be used by a bind person easily

. It's a difficult phone to.use if you can see properly.and there are problems with charging it. I bought for my 88yr old mother who is competent. she couldnt use it.

yes it does, what is recognized between incoming phone numbers and phone numbers stored in the 'phones' memory. just make sure to sync your 'contacts' - the data on the sim card, the data on the phones memory, and or on sd extension memory.the phone has a very good sound processing considering the money invested

Q: How easy is it to set off SOS button - could my father be setting it off frequently accidentally going into his pocket to get it?

We felt the SOS button was so exposed and needed so little pressure to operate it - that we've left it unused (to stop 'false alarms'). Note also that although most reviews mention how loud and good the sound is, for my 92 y.o. Mother-i-L who needs two hearing aids it is barely loud enough for her to understand certain accents (such as my own, country/soft accent) city/harsh accents that she is used to (grew up in London area) she can understand rather better especially females.
