Dependable British guitar strings
Over the years I’ve used various brands of strings, Rotosound, Ernie Ball, D’Addario, Elixir etc. British made Rotosound strings are as good as any overall and you can usually get a good deal on them. I’ve been using Elixir over the past couple of years (expensive but they do last a long time). However, I’ve decided to re-string a few guitars and opted to go back to Rotosound on this occasion. Really good value and dependable!

The best strings (for me anyway)
I've always used Rotosounds, yellow for my rock guitars, and grey for my jazz box. They have always been reliable, never break, last for a good while, stay clear and trebly. AND you get a free extra 1st string. I've never understood why they are often poo-pooed by guitarists, but when I saw Paul Davids doing his Youtube blind comparison test recently and Rotosound were the clear winner, it just cemented in my mind why I like them. This triple pack is great value, PLUS a free guitar strap is included (donated to my local music dept). You can't lose!

Great strings and strap is durable enough for gigging
Favourite strings for about 20 years. The only slight criticism is the more recent idea of the plastic-y foil packaging and the way the strings are wrapped in twos. If you're not always replacing a full set (penniless musician here!), it makes it difficult to put the spares back in and they can ping out of the opened packet in transit. I understand they changed to keep the strings particularly fresh before opening, but I preferred the older cardboard packets with individually wrapped strings. This is not enough to lose a star, as they are great long-lasting strings and therefore good value. The strap is good quality too, and the colours vary from packet to packet I believe. I use them for gigs, as I'm not one to use flashy leather / logo'd straps, etc. 5/5

Worth the money!
The strings are good quality and have a bright tone but I don't think i like them as much as my usual brands. For the price though these are decent quality strings and the fact you get 3 sets of strings and a strap is a great offer. I cannot fault the quality of these strings as they do feel ok and I only had to stretch them a few times for them to stay in tune. It's just my personal preference that I think I might prefer my usual d'addarios or elixirs it's nothing against this brand. They do sound really nice for clean chords, picking and strumming so if that's mainly your thing then you should love these strings. All comes down to personal preference with different string brands so I do definitely recommend trying these strings as you might love them.

Switched to rotosound and not looking back.
These strings are perfect for me. Decided to change my set up a little bit and I ditched slinkys which I have been using for 20+ years. I never had a problem with slinkys but now that I am playing roto's, I'd never go back. They just feel 'cleaner', stronger and more durable. They have an amazing tone and they don't seem to collect dirt and moisture as much. So if you are wondering if these can deliver, I'd say absolutely and I am a heavy handed, lead blues player using a les paul and a dunlop thumb pick.

Decent strings and great value for money.
Surprisingly good product for the price. 3 full sets of strings which are each provided in a sealed baggie. The string ends are coloured (2 red, 2 white and 2 blue) which is a nice touch. The included free strap is ok. I received a royal blue one (not my cup of tea) that's basic but does the job fine and can't be sniffed at considering the cost of the set. The strings themselves are holding up well, seem durable, and are maintaining their acoustic pitches nicely. Not quite as good as Ernie's (for reference), but not far off. Considering the price, for a 'basic' everyday guitar and the average amateur guitarist these would seem a really great buy.

Rotosound very good nice sounding strings.
3 sets of strings plus strap at a great price. Ok strap not of any great quality but it does the job as a spare. Cannot fault the strings well made very good sound. Will keep buying these opposed to Ernie Ball. Use them on my Strat & Telecaster.

Super recomendables!

should have switched to Rotosouds earlier
After having used strings by 'another famous brand' for decades (i.e. late seventies!), a guy I traded (swapped) guitars with, made me aware of the fact that 'those of the other make' do wander quite a bit around pitch when tuning and indeed I did find the-other-brand-of-strings' rather 'time-consuming' and new ones needing a lot of stretching. So I thought let's try those Rotosound Yellows for a change. They are easy to tune, do not wander around pitch, do not need lots of stretching and stay in tune also when bending and. vibrating a lot (like I do). On my somewhat modified 2005 Gibson Explorer with PAF copies they give me the amount of brightness I always look for and also seem to work well in the 'attack-sustain-decay' criteria. This 3 set + strap box is good value and contains the three sets packed 'per set' together so no more individual 'sachets' per string anymore. The ball ends are color coded so no need to mix up the 'which goes where' . Try 'em!
