Top Trumps -How to Train Your Dragon

Bought these as part of a "dragon" day for my grandchildren and they were a big hit, both with children and I! The descriptions on the cards are really useful for younger ones to understand the books more and the game is great fun for those that are of reading age. The little ones could still join in but had to have adult help. The only criticism is that one or two of the cards are either so high or low scoring that if you have them in your hand you know you have lost that play whatever and that became a little frustrating for an eight year old. Good way to learn that you can't win all the time though. They played for hours and there was much excitement when top trumps was mentioned long after our "dragon" day. Rather usurped by light Sabres when we had a Star Wars day!

Excellent, always been a fan of the top trump cards myself and remember playing the super cars and racing cars ones as a child. There are so many more to chose from now and my two daughters both lve playing them, which is great because when we go on holiday it means they don't take up much room and all of us can play when it is late or if it is really bad weather. Bargain price and great quality original cards.

Good product, although as always, some of the scores are subjective. Worth noting that the cards include characters from How To Train Your Dragon, How To Train Your Dragon 2, and Dragons: Riders of Berk (but not up to the finale). Overall, good fun.

Good game with most of the major characters in there but some of the abilities leave a bit to be desired. Kids and I enjoyed it still even if we did feel that the Toothless card is pretty much average given he is the Alpha

My son is a huge How To Train Your Dragon fan and these were a great little gift for when we were travelling during the holidays. Such an easy game to get the hang of that even Granny can manage it (she struggles with Guess Who!). They have had plenty of use, both in the car and when at home, and I am sure will continue to do so.

loved by my 5 year old, lots of characters from all the series and films (disagree with the other reviewer that some are "missing") only thing is the text is teeny weeny... though it has encouraged reading!

We loved these trump cards, my son particularly did as he is currently obsessed with the film and tv series. The price is right too and anything to take him off the screen is great! Playing games like this has also helped his confidence with number recognition and that’s not a bad thing. Highly recommend trump cards for kids!

Hours of fun for me son and great way for him to bond with other boys on holiday. Also reading the numbers in a fun way helps with his maths

Meine 13-jährige Tochter ist großer Ohnezahn-Fan. Daher war dieses Spiel perfekt als Geburtstagsgeschenk. Leider in englischer Ausführung, aber im Nachhinein ist ein wenig englisch im Alltag nicht schlecht für die Schule........

This card game is WONDERFUL!! Each round goes quite quicky, especially if you have more than two players, and the pictures are quite lovely on the cards. I just wish the game had been made when the Netflix series had come out as the characters from the tv show such as Heather or Dagur are from those past seasons and thus aren't updated in their look. Still, as far as HTTYD merchandise goes if you are a fan...BUY THIS GAME!! ((They should add another deck or something for more characters like Spitelout, Gustav, Fanghook, Windshear))

Fun game for young "Dragon" fans. I played several times with my 6 yr old child on a plane trip. We made up several different ways to play/win the game.

Kids really love it, it's just a great standard which you can play with everywhere: at home, in the car, on holidays...
