I wouldn't suggest doing so. The ceramic naturally absorbs heat from the hair dryer and acts to gently curl or wave hair depending on the diameter.

Do they do a smaller version of this brush ?

I couldn't find a smaller one of this make but my mum found a smaller one of the same technology, just different brand, on amazon.
