Great product and good value. Really sturdy. I painted mine to match other items, lined them with black membrane and added a little polythene layer to retain some moisture. They look lovely!

These really are a quality product. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for after all. They are solid and much better than the ones they are replacing which are starting to to fall apart after two years.

We have bought a number of these which provide a sturdy, plain but attractive, wooden display base for plants on our decking and elsewhere. Plan to use one for herbs as well. Not cheap but not unreasonable for solid quality.

Bought 2 of these troughs for my bluebell bulbs. They look lovely! They aren't lined so my plan was to buy cheap plastic troughs to plant the bulbs in to place inside the wooden troughs, and when the bluebells stop flowering I could simply lift the plastic ones out and put the bluebells to one side for next year etc. Then put another plastic trough inside in which to plant other flowers. That way these beautiful wooden troughs would be put to good use throughout all flowering seasons. However, we could not find plastic troughs anywhere to fit, the ones long enough were too wide or too deep!!! So when we found troughs the right width and depth from our local discount store we pieced 1.5 of them together to fit. We left a small gap all the way round for insulating material when it gets frosty to protect the bulbs. They're well made and sturdy, wood is treated, and a lovely teak colour. Looking forward to seeing them in all their glory next spring and summer.

Very impressive with these, they’re deep/big enough to plant lavender which is what I needed. Much cheaper than the ones at our local garden centre, arrived assembled and ready to use
