Great funky tin, smells lovely, does what it says on the tin!

To be honest, I don't understand bad reviews of this product. Each to their own, but I have tried and tested way more hair products than most guys would admit to and to date I've yet to find a better pomade than Reuzel. I only found out about it from my barber, as its literally the only pomade they use and I totally understand why. Personally I quite like the smell. I get hints of mint/chocolate mint, but I'm no perfumer so don't quote me on that. In terms of hold, this stuff out lasts any other product I have ever used. I've tried a few from the Reuzel range and hold throughout is outstanding. I can happily wander in the rain and feel comfortable that my style isn't going to be out of shape or flat when using Reuzel. I can only assume that the people who find it is hard to wash out etc, have maybe over applied or put one thick layer on. I find that it works well by gradually applying thinner layers. By doing that it holds shape better and has a more natural look.

Easy to apply but smells minty that may not be wanted. My partner didn’t like it but I did! It doesn’t hold for very long which may not be ideal for some, but also means you don’t get that feeling of pulling your hair when you’re running your hands through your hair. It’s also really easy to wash out.

This is my favourite hair product now. Previously I used black label grooming but they went bust and I have been trying to find a replacement product. Eventually tried this one. I apply a sea salt spray and blow dry to add volume then some of this and it's amazing. Matte type finish with flexible but strong hold. It doesn't wear off quickly at all but can wash out easily. Definitely recommend this stuff. Please don't discontinue.

Its basically a sample size. You get a really tiny amount inside and Its not even half full when you open it. I think its going to last me under a month, while the 4 oz lasts me 6 and is almost the same price. I wont be buying this size again, even at almost half price i felt like its a bit of a rip off. However, They are my favourite brand for hair products. The actual product is also meh. below average for the price. Its smells good, you get a nice whiff and its not over powering. You need to use alot compared to the Blue and Green pots which are the same price with alot more product inside. Once you use the appropriate amount the hold is good. Its got a nice shine to it. Its easy to wash out. I wouldn't get this one again. The quantity for the price is a total deal breaker. I think even with a 4 oz pot it would last about half the time as the others .

Having really thick hair and being always in need of a perfect structure and hold, I've tried tons of products and brands over the years : clays, waxes, mousses, pomade, styling creams... this Reuzel Clay Matte Pomade has to be one of the top, if not the best styling product i've ever used. It shapes even the thickest, most stubborn hair in the exact way you like. I still finish with a spritz of hair spray to keep everything in place and i end up getting the perfect result. By the end of the day, your hair is touchable, yet still in place with a very natural, matt effect. Next day restyling with a little extra product is an easy option with this clay, which is great for those of us who want to avoid washing hair everyday. Next best thing is the fragrance, slightly retro mix - has the freshness of spearmint with a subtle hint of vanilla. Very distinct from other products on the market. Quite addictive, really !

I'm a big fan of the reuzel products they are top quality & always have a wonderful scent, the pink being one of my favourites for an oil pomade but I won't use an oil pomade every day, but this clay pomade it the best product I've used so far it's easy to apply it gives loads of volume & a strong flexible hold & I mean strong & flexible like nothing else I've tried, you really can re style throughout the day without losing hold this really is impressive, it has a mat finish & it's very easy to shampoo out, I mustn't forget to mention the scent it's a chocolate mint very much like the smell of an after 8 chocolate. For me this is my new go to everyday product, it's the business!

Great product. Good price considering you need barely any of the product. With the size of the tin, It will go a long way.

Without any product my hair grows to about twice the size of my head. This product is heaps good, keeping it under control all day. I actually prefer it to the stronger hold pink tin, as it feels less gluey and feels quite light comparatively. It holds and keeps its shape much better than the water based ones also Best one I've used
