How do I stop this mat from moving all the time?

Its rubber and heavy so mine doesn't move around

Would this be suitable to sit underneath another mat to remain outdoors?m and subject to the weather conditions?

It is suitable for any weather, we bought it last summer, it’s almost a year old. It’s on the side door so it’s completely exposed to the elements. It’s used heavily, and we hose it down when leaves and muck gets caught in it. Not sure if putting another mat over it will work, sounds like a trip hazard.

How thick is this mat?

About 1cm deep. Very effective mat but ideally it needs to be placed in a tray to capture the dirt. It was difficult to find the right size tray.

I agree with the previous response - it's not very thick. I bought it for the back door and it's perfect and very easy to keep clean but I wouldn't buy it to deaden noise.
