Seems good
Keyboard worked first try. Installation was a pain, but that’s the fault of the laptop assembly. They keyboard itself is quiet taps, and decent feeling on keys. Hopefully this one lasts longer than OEM

Backlight low or hi setting
Much work too install but works great. I'm curious if anyone knows if the backlight can be brighter or is it just standard in one set position?

Hard to replace, but fit fine.
My space bar on my Dell laptop went out, which I thought would be an easy fix. However, replacing a laptop keyboard requires disassembling every component of a laptop! No problem; spent half a day and got it done.

Expected red LEDs, got white LEDs.
While all the buttons work, I specifically looked into this one because it would have red backlit keys. All the keys works and everything, but the led’s are a dim blue and not the sharp bright red of the original. 2/5 because in all honesty if it was still something I’d buy with how it currently is it’d be a 3/5 but I wouldn’t buy it as is so it’s not even 3/5 tbh. Edit: March 27th. I’ve had the product for a while now. Using my laptop a few times now, it’s frustrating. Does the keyboard work as far as buttons registering? Yes. 5/5. Light colour matching what’s advertised? 0/5 Light brightness? 1/5. It lights up but is so dim I have to use another source of light to see keyboard. Backlights are weak. Would I still buy it again? 0/5. That’s a 6 points over 4 questions. If I could bring my rating down to 1.5 stars I would but I’ll simply lower my rating from 2 stars to 1 star. Honestly, I don’t care if the keyboard works, that is not a redeeming factor that much. Fact is, I still had a mostly working keyboard except for one button and I could easily read the keys. This replacement is quite a bit of work. From tearing it all apart, to figuring out how to bend the ribbon cables to match the original etc… so much work to get it right and perfect… just for the lights to be weak and not even the right colour. Literally the only remedy is buying something again and hope it’s strong red lights. And for how much trouble this all is… that’s why it’s 1 star in my books. Because it’s simply a product that will leave you unsatisfied as an OEM replacement and you’ll end up getting something else again.

Great replacement for the original non backlit keyboard
I took my computer apart so many times trying to get this keyboard to light up. So needless to say it was error on my end. Once I connected the two cables correctly it lit up the pretty blue. I didn't need to turn it on... It was automatic. It turns off once the laptop is shut down. It fit my dell computer perfectly.

It might be good .. for me... Not so much
3/4 of the keyboard doesn't work. Removed everything multiple times trying to see if I plugged it in wrong. After the 4th time's taking the entire laptop apart just chalked it up to a bad keyboard. It's SO much work though, I don't know if I'll bother even attempting to replace it again. And I mean A LOT of work. It does light up though ..... 🤷♂️. I wanted it to work ...
