Spear & Jackson Plastic Leaf Grabber

This product was purchased because the hand ones I have mean you must bend down to use. This new product means that no bending is required. The pieces are easy to assemble in less than a minute. It looks like the plastic claws don’t line up, but when in use, it doesn’t matter as they work perfectly. I bought them to pick up leaves and moss post scarification and it works beautifully. You can pick up a ton of stuff, even when it is coming out the sides, and it holds everything until released over the bin. I strongly recommend this great product and so does my back.

Excellent! Slotted together in a few seconds. Handle length perfect and comfortable to use. Works great to pick up leaves, hedge clippings and even apples if you do a few at a time. Makes clearing the garden so much quicker and saves your back!

This leaf grabber has saved my parents both time and the repetitive effort of bending over and picking up leaves by hand. They couldn’t do without one of these now! It’s sturdy, well made and works a treat. It can pick up considerably more leaves than you would be able to if doing by hand. And best of all no aching back or knees the following day! Highly recommend.

When I opened the box I was a little uncertain. It seemed smaller than I'd pictured. The 'scoops' section is longer and narrower than I'd pictured (compared to my Big Hands shovellers) However, there was a mountain of leaves to pick up so I set to work. This tool is fantastic! Feels lightweight yet well made and substantial, easy to operate - it opened with the handles parted, placed over the pile, closed the handles together and it picked up great armful of leaves in one fell scoop! I had filled my recycling bin in a fraction of the time it would usually have taken me and whether a small scoop or a large helping of leaves, this tool was just the job and my lower back was grateful too! I'm not saying it'll get every single mortal leaf on each scoop, but if you're dealing with piles that you've swept up together or ones that have amassed? This is a piece of helpful garden gadge. We'll worth the money.

Absolutely love these grabbers wish I'd bought them ages ago, leaves in my garden are the vein of my life I struggle with my mobility but they are great im going to have the leaves gone in no time. Should of took a photo but wasnt expecting to be that chuffed with them but iam can't recommend them enough. So easy to put together aswell.

Easy to use and removes need to bend over to collect leaves/rubbish. Lightweight and the 2 scoops connected to the poles quickly & with ease. Perfect tool for use around the garden

Autumn, the "Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness". And leaves. Lots and lots of leaves. I don't actually have any trees in my garden. But my neighbours on both sides do. Big ones. And a large proportion of THEIR leaves end up in my garden. All over it. I have some of those giant glove type leaf grabbers, a couple of pairs, actually. And they do work. But oh, after a few scoops, my poor old back starts to complain. And whilst my garden is pretty small, there really are a LOT of leaves to tackle. So, this year I went for this long handled leaf-grabber thing. Yay! It is so much easier to pick up the leaves when standing upright! Whilst it will still be a long job, and need multiple sessions as the leaves are not so kind as to fall off all at once, it is definitely a lot less painful! The "mouth" bit, that does the actual grabbing, is quite flexible, and I am not really sure if this is to stop it breaking... but I have been busy grabbing leaves over the past few days, and so far it seems totally up to the task in hand. I am not worrying that it is going to snap. So well worth the price for making an annoying, but necessary job considerably easier... and for saving me from backache for the rest of the day!

I will not be without this garden tool now!! These are amazing!!! I was skeptical the angle would be any good and they are perfect. I’ve suggested them and show them to friends and fear I’ve looked like a gardening nerd. Make really quick work of picking up large amounts of leaves and grass etc in 1 go. Blinking brilliant.

Lo compré para no tener que agacharme por los dolores de espalda. Ahora que tengo la espalda bien lo sigo usando. Es muy práctico.

Arrived with pieces missing. Came with handle only, no parts for ends. No option to request these to be sent afterwards so I now have to return the item. Very frustrating, complete waste of my time.

Vraiment trop pratique, fini la corvée de ramassage des feuilles en mode penché à la main ou autrement. On ne trouve pas facilement cet outil en France (c'est un produit courant en Angleterre), alors merci Amazon, c'est un vrai plaisir de jardiner maintenant. Fiable et efficace, bonne hauteur, ni trop haut ni trop bas, on peut prendre beaucoup de feuilles à la fois ou autres debris. Bon produit, bonne qualité.
