Looks great!
I had a previous model from APC which kept my system safe for years on end. However, just a few months ago the battery finally died and the unit became unusable - aside from not working, the unit also emits the most annoying of whines imaginable! Coincidentally, just a couple of moths subsequent to the death of my old APC unit, my Windows based PC crashed big time - again! To say I was not pleased by said hardware crash could be the understatement of the century; and finally having quite enough of everything Windows, I decided to take out a second mortgage (just kidding) and purchase a brand new, sparkly 27" iMac 5k Retina. Furthermore, on discovering virtually nothing in my hardware collection actually worked with my new iMac, I went quite mad and purchased a worryingly large number of hardware beauties. A new Colour Laser Printer, a new Photo Scanner, and a superb and quite enormous new A3 dedicated Photo printer to be specific. Add to this little lot a Disk Drive (Apple have none), a Blu-Ray Drive (Apple do not like Blu-Ray apparently?) Raid External Hard Disk Storage, and a couple of USB Hubs, etc...and I may just have to leave my homeland soon! First impressions are my new APC is just as heavy as the old one - they weigh a ton for such a compact unit! The item comes with a minimum of documentation, and several leads. Rather surprisingly, the unit does not appear to come with a UK mains lead? My old APC unit certainly came with a UK mains lead, so I am rather puzzled why it is missing from my new example? Anyway, although unpacked, scrutinised and much admired, I have not as yet actually installed the unit with all my bits and bobs. It will be a hassle with my particular home office configuration, and will inevitably involve much grovelling on the floor which is not a pleasant prospect. Thus, watch this space! I will hope to provide a better review when the deed is eventually done. Postscript :- All up and running well. Tried to install the Powerchute software, but my iMac didn't want to know. Subsequently, I have learned their is software already built into OS-X to handle an APC UPS? Need to investigate further, but by the look of it I will not need the APC software at all which is handy.

Compact, easy to operate & works well
This unit is compact & sits on edge of desk & provides power to: two pc's, two Buffalo Drive Station external disk drives & router. Has display which shows % load. It replaced an old battery back up unit on which alarm would not turn off if power went of for a while, very annoying at night. On this unit it's very easy to turn system & alarm off if necessary. Have not bothered to link it to pc's as always around when backups to pc's being carried out. Had to also separately purchase an ICE C14 to 6 Way Gang UK Mains Extension Socket Lead to connect in back of APC unit, which has six of these computer type power outlet sockets, and pc's e.t.c all have square three pin plugs.

Great Small UPS
A Great small UPS, although the front panel navigation is not intuitive it does not take long to get around, its powering my PS4, Sky HD Box and a 40" Sony TV. Quiet in use and for the price the piece of mind is great. I called APC to see if this was the model I needed, rather than a more powerful one and they were very helpful. Definitely worth buying. I have an Older APC 1500Va Smart UPS and that has saved my bacon more than a few times.

Easy to set up and it shuts down my hard ...
Fabulous piece of kit which I wouldn't be without. Easy to set up and it shuts down my hard drive enclosure when there is a power cut and so preventing and damage. If you have valuable data and video files, then this type of accessory is a must. Update Oct 2020 - After 6 1/2 years the battery pack failed so I bought a replacement for £90. An excellent product that has and will continue to serve me well.

Good peace of mind
I used a simple APC Back-UPS ES 700 for my computer equipment (iMac, external hard drive, ReadyNAS) but it was not as reliable as it should have been under some of the power cut conditions we experienced, consequently two hard drives in my ReadyNAS developed SMART errors. When the battery expired I decided to upgrade. I since purchased a replacement battery and am now using the ES 700 for my TV and PS3. No such problems with the APC LCD 750, it soaks up any surges and blips, runs it's own self-tests periodically, and shows me a lot of information about the supply, power consumption, and some things I don't even know what they mean. It has six outputs which, unlike the ES 700 which only had four that were on battery backup and four more on surge protection only, all are surge protected and on battery backup. The power has gone off since I purchased this and I haven't had any problems. Two IEC connection cables are provided, I purchased some suitable cable and connectors and made my own fly-leads so that I could connect UK mains plugs to the UPS without having to use IEC leads.

... out and replaced it within a day which was good of them
The first one that came was faulty but the supplier sent a courier out and replaced it within a day which was good of them. The new one works and is perfect.

Performs very well
Works perfectly next to the previous APC UPS that I have. The display is easy to read, and the settings can be changed on the unit as well. I use Windows 10 with the PC attached to this UPS and that handles all the shutting down. I also have the monitor, switch, printer and wireless access point attached. At full load on the PC, the total load is around 80% for the UPS. With the PC off, the load is 25%.
