Good, but a couple of suggestions
This is a good idea, easy to operate. Make sure you have a 12mm drill for the expanding floor bolts. The bottom stay on the receiving post is a tack welded round strip of metal, not a pin like the video, which I can see becoming a weak point. I would also like to have seen a slip over cover for the receiver, possibly with warning stripes, first to keep wet weather from the inside of the post, and second to make the post more visible when the windbreak is folded away. Other than that, Great!

Well built, good value.
As expected. The cover offers only light protection from the elements so I will store it overwinter indoors. If mounting the retaining post on the ground I suggest a decent foundation to ensure it remains upright.

Easy to fit and genuinely useful in all weather
I installed this VOUNOT Side Awning Retractable in the garden to add a bit of privacy and shelter, and it’s turned out to be a great addition. Fitting it was straightforward and didn’t take long, even without overcomplicating things. Once up, it makes an immediate difference. It provides solid shade on sunny days, cuts the wind down noticeably, and has even held up well in light rain, which I wasn’t expecting. It also looks smart once installed, not out of place or cheap-looking like some outdoor screens can be. If I had to pick a fault, it’s probably best suited for normal garden use rather than anything too exposed in strong winds, but that’s fairly standard for this type of product. Overall, a really practical bit of kit that adds both comfort and privacy. Well worth it if you want to make better use of your outdoor space.
