AA Fully Magnetic P Plates

Great. Stuck well to the car (even in wind, rain, icy mornings, motorway speeds, sun). No problems.

Purchased these for my daughter who kept losing her precious ones whilst driving (wind blowing them off) these ones are fully magnetic so the air can’t get under them. Great for the price.

I bought these just before I got my first car a over a month ago. They gave me a sense of security and an explanation to other drivers for my sometimes questionably bad driving! They are just generally a good idea and give you a bit more confidence that hopefully other drivers will leave you a bit of room and be a little bit more patient with you. (thats the idea anyway!) As for quality - they are fully magnetic as described, although I did loose one after a few weeks (flew off my bumper whilst on the motorway - which was a little nerve racking) However I still used the other "p" for several weeks after (just placing it on the back of my car). I would suggest having a cloth in your car at all times whilst using these as you will need to wipe your car when its wet (or they are slippy) and presumably will fall off more easily. Also try to keep them flat when they are not stuck on your car, as if they get bent - they won't stick down fully next time you use them. Other than that I am glad I bought these, I have been driving for just over a month and I still keep the spare 'P' in my boot just incase I go on an unfamiliar drive. :)

I purchased these for my son as he has not long passed his test. They arrived quickly and I was pleased to see they were completely magnetic. I thought they would have magnetic strips on the back of them. He put them on his car and they attach well. They are much superior to the ones I bought from the well known motor shop beginning with H and ending in S, they were very expensive and you had to cut the magnetic strips and stick them on the plates yourself. Absolute rubbish and they did not last long at all. He put them on and when he got home one of them had blown off, just leaving one magnetic strip on his car and the other one fell to bits when he parked in his space. I would definitely recommend these, they were a great price and free postage. 18 August 2014. Since writing this review the plate on the bonnet has flown off. The first time I managed to rescue it and put it back on but not long after it flew off again and was lost so he now only has one for the boot.

I bought these AA magnetic P plates after passing my driving test, as I became anxious when it came to driving alone and I wanted to signal to other drivers that I was still gaining confidence on the road. I wanted something that would stay securely in place without damaging my car. The plates are a good size and the magnetic backing covers the entire plate rather than just a few strips, which is great for ensuring they stay in place. The green 'P' is bold and easy to spot. These plates stick very well to the car and don’t budge. They’re easy to remove without leaving marks or residue on the paintwork. After weeks of use, they held up well through different weather conditions. No fading or peeling, and they don’t curl at the edges like some cheaper ones do. For the price, these are a solid choice. They offer a hassle-free way to display P plates without worrying about adhesive stickers ruining the paintwork. I’d say they’re well worth it compared to cheaper alternatives that might not last as long.

Had these a month now after passing my test. They're quite thin but they do stay firmly on my car. My learner plates were alot thicker
