Ensure Plus Milkshake Vanilla 200ml x 12

These are my saviour atm!. Am very sick from Chemo and can't tolerate any food..I am aware and want to advise others that these are a supplement meant to be taken in between meals not as I am taking them now!Nb My Dr's are aware of how I am using them but in the short term ,until I regain my appetite ,they are giving me as much nutrition as possible!..Easy to drink,nice taste,not too sweet or sickly..helping me a lot!Good value for money!I highly recommend as a short term,(in my case) fix!

This product had been recommended to me by some members of an MCAS support group, as causing low reactivity. Sadly for me it didn't work, I did react less to this than the Fortisip & if you drink in tiny sips over a longer period of time it is more tolerable. Fortunately I've since found a different brand I don't react negatively too. Taste is pleasant, no horrible after taste, like all these drinks they are quite expensive but they are good quality. It is a decent size for someone who is struggling to eat, it is an easier way to get nutrition into us. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who just wants a meal replacement, it won't be very filling to a healthier person.

Got cancer and can’t be cured. This is like a really easy going vanilla milk shake. I like vanilla, fruits of forest shakes and juice forest fruit juices. Apple/orange/kiwi etc all taste dry and weird juice combining each to their own. Not for me.. I buy bulk and privately to save nhs a bit and easier to arrange delivery rather than prescription. Easy on throat and stomach. I Can make it go down when all else makes me wretch. At times it keeps me alive without doubt. 2x strength is too thick for me so I stick to plus 1.5 which is normal consistency. Absolutely no nasty after taste - which on chemo would be a killer for me - I’m very fussy and could quite easily/quickly starve myself rather than eat/drink something a hate. Only criticism is absence of fibre which you need to keep you pooping, esp if on opioids. I supplement with innocent strawberry and banana drinks (gentle on stomach) which don’t carry all the other nutrients but supply the fibre I need on top. Hope sharing this helps. Excellent product for me.
