This product has been working wonderfully in my Dyson. It fits perfectly and was very easy and quick to install. It's a great value for the money and I would order it again.

IT IS BEST TO REPLACE THE BRUSH ROLLER AND END CAP AT THE SAME TIME! If your end cap shows any wear, replace it as well - the end cap is incredibly cheap! This roller brush looks identical to the original and fits the Dyson 24 absolutely perfectly. It comes with a GREAT accessory brush that will cut through hair and string wound around the brush roller. I replaced both the brush roller and end cap on my Dyson 24 and it is working like new - maybe better! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this brush roller and the end cap that can be purchased with it!

This is exact same size as the original. However this one is lighter than the original; I feel this is not sturdy. Don’t know how long this will last. The bristles seem a little softer than the original. I installed it and vaccumed my house. Didn’t find any issues. I am happy for now. Worth a try.

This roller brush works like new and the cleaning brush is a nice plus. Note: if either the end of your roller brush or the cap that fits over it are damaged, you will need to replace both at the same time. Otherwise the damaged piece will ruin your new part in a matter of a few weeks. Don't ask me how I know this...

I have a CY23 machine (one of the listed models) and bought this to replace the roller. It is the wrong size: close enough that it fits inside but too big, so now it is jammed and won’t come out. Made my vacuum unusable. I am trying to figure out how to get it out without damaging my vacuum’s head so I can remove it.

My Dyson now with roller # DC52/DC54/DC78/CY18/CY22/CY23 (ball) is working … as the original brush roller was gone. I could not clean with the original old while it’s hair was mostly eaten hair” by the powerful sacking machine. Roller’s replacement is almost matching appropriate fit and doing better work than discarded “bold one”. Price , here, is much lover than available directly from Dyson’s replacement. Any way this particular substitute is doing its job. I am glad that I’ve gotten it here.

The brush on our vacuum had the bearing seize up. This replacement fit perfectly. Here's hoping the bearing lasts many more years. One thing I needed to do was replace the plastic end door that holds the brush in. I didn't realize it damaged at first so it seemed like this brush wasn't a good replacement. Upon further inspection I noticed that there was supposed to be a longer round piece that is supposed to slide into the brush that was ground off from my previous brush. After replacing that as well, my vacuum works like new!
