GXT 38 Tytan

I wasn't sure if I should of bought this as I was looking at a pair of logitech speakers that was £30 more than what these speakers was but I took a risk on it and I have to say I am VERY happy with what I got out the box. Very fast delivery when I got them and i got them early in the morning which is unusual for my area but never the less happy with how fast it got to me. On to the quality of the speakers I am happy with how they look and how they sound giving the price, the two main speakers are plastic but feel that of good quality and the subwoofer is made of very good quality wood to give you an even greater quality of sound when cranking the volume up and I will get to that shortly. The two main speakers only have 1 main speaker in them as the little one on top is just for show but does not bother me. As for the sound of these speakers they really do pack a punch if you do go full wack with the volume as these will peak at 120W when at full volume and when doing so you can feel the bass on your chest if you have it high enough which also brings me onto saying you do NOT need to have the bass high on this as it is powerful even at 1/4 of a turn if not under as the driver size of this is 150mm which is beast. *SIDE NOTE* People have had slight humming when the pc is off and the volume is down on speakers so an easy fix to this is to just turn the speakers off via the subwoofer and problem solved. As for the controls you have both volume (I personally have this full to then control it with the main volume control) and bass on the back of the subwoofer along with a power saving button which will turn the speakers off when not in use for a given amount of time. The volume control panel you get with it has a 3.5mm input and output in order for you to put sound to the speakers via phone or mp3 or to add another set of earphone to listen in too. I don't use it myself but may be great for others but still a good feature. Now onto the cable lengths and what you need to do to get the sound from pc to speakers. The top row is for your 2 main speakers to go into ad the bottom row is to go to you pc *Green Port* the cable that goes to the pc to the subwoofer also has the cable for the control panel for the volume and this cable can be split with care to allow you to let the cable go where needed. The length of the cables are very long which is great to give you plenty of room to set them up and gives enough room to work with. The length of the cables are as follows, Power cable(UK plug) 140cm Audio cable 175cm Subwoofer to satellite speakers 180cm My overall thoughts on the speakers are amazing for the price and I am very happy with what I have got so DO NOT be put off due to the price as these are worthy of being £80 if not more giving the quality of the sound and how clear they are at both high and low volumes. So I highly recommend these speakers if you are looking for a great build pair of speakers that pack one hell of a punch.

I bought this for my computer to go with my new sound card, the Sound Blaser Audigy Fx. For the money I paid for it, it was well worth it. It was an easy setup and once it was plugged in, I played some music. After about 5 minutes of messing about with the settings, I got it to sound perfect. I was very surprised by the lightweight speakers and the very good quality sound that came booming out of it. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a cheat and effective gaming stereo set.

Really good product, I was gonna spend £130 on some speakers and decided it was too much, so I bought these, thinking they wouldn’t be as good as the more expensive ones, turns out they are really good! Impressive bass, good size sub, satellite speakers look good and produce a good quality mid to high range sound, the controller is very smooth and feels like good quality, I’ve not stopped listening to music since I got them 😆👍, sfx on the movies and games are bought to life with them too.

Firstly I need to begin by saying I got this as a "like new" product with the claim the box may be damaged. Its true the box was damaged, but the contents were also damaged, with scratches all across the front of the speakers and one of the speaker grills was also pressed in. I was not expecting this from a "like new" product, however whilst this may have been a huge issue for most, in my case it wasn't as I stripped down the speakers to use in an arcade machine project. Worth mentioning none the less as this was advertised as "like new" with expected damage to the box. Onto the product itself. Like others have said, the base unit is well made, solid, with a pleasing look. The sound from the base is incredible, really punchy effect for such a small unit. The speakers do feel cheap, light to touch, plastic and as others have mentioned, only the lower speaker is real, the upper is fake. The sound from the speakers is reasonable, good enough for my arcade machine set up, having mentioned previously, these were stripped out of their cases and mounted inside what is effectively a wooden box, so the sound did improve. Overall a 7/10 for sound. Based unit has easy to use controls, nice long leads and a power switch, along with a time out switch for anyone that leaves it on for an hour without use, very handy for todays electric prices! Happy with my purchase, would get a much higher rating had the product not been damaged inside the box, guess you get what you pay for these days, a bargain is not always a bargain!

I ordered this on Monday it arrived the next day thanks to my Amazon prime.. love it, I also love this little pressie to myself.. omg i'm shocked, I already have a 600 watt sub in my house so i can make an honest judgement based on what i regularly listen to. This is an amazing bit of kit I honestly cannot believe the power this has it bloody brilliant. The clarity from the 2 desktop speaker is amazing the bass from the sub is pretty decent for such a compact box.. i'm running it through my Realtek HD audio manager on my PC with pleasant results. This is probably one of my best buys overall on amazon value for money wise and quality, in fact I've just ordered a second one today as a birthday present. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would 100% recommend this to everyone.
