A happy customer
I have waited 2 months before writing this review. I have had a few wheels and pedal over the years (and tried many more), and after a really bad transition from previous gen Xbox (g920 I think?) to getting a ps5 and assuming a g923 would be the obvious choice - how wrong was I. I tried it a couple times, but even with true force off and fiddling with all settings in f12025 and gt7, it was just a noise machine, but told me nothing that useful at all. It really didn't suit my needs or meet my expectations. I didn't want a DD wheel as for me and my skill level, it is hard to justify, and I can't get a cockpit due to space but have a decent enough wheel stand that works for me. I heavily modified my old pedal set on the g920, they were pretty good and would have happily kept those - the pedal set here is much better out of the box. Yes there are additional mods I may make out of the warranty period, but they are a great pedal set straight away (after the included brake mod, then in game range calibration), so no hurry there. The force feedback via the belt drive is very smooth, powerful and quiet. I find it so communicative and have a lot more confidence in close proximity online racing now, and because of this, I am able to learn and improve my SIM racing skills. I can feel the weight transfer during the different phases of cornering, and how these differ with different vehicles and engine/drive configurations, and catching slides with my hands rather than my eyes. Make sure the fan is set to always on mode. This fan is on my list for replacement, but I have had no heat issues so far, even with a 50% GP distance race (1 hour constant use). If I had to be critical about something, the rubberised wheel I didn't like at first, and I was thinking about a replacement rim not to far away, but I got used to it and forgot until writing this - cant be that bad then! There is also quite an extensive thrust master ecosystem, so there are many upgrade paths available. I paid ยฃ299 for mine and even at that price I would still recommend it. My experience is limited to gt7 and f1 2025 on ps5.

Pretty awesome starter wheel
It has stronger force feedback than I expected, I had never used a sim wheel but can definitely feel the bumps and wheels losing grip (depends on the game of course). It was really easy to set up and get working. I do recommend looking up some FFB settings videos and trying a few out until you find one you like. The wheel feels nice and quite heavy for it's size, gives a quality feel in the hand when playing and is a very nice size for racing. The buttons are good too, feel a little bit more wobbly than a PS controller but they work fine and are in a nice location to access most of them while racing. The pedals are ok, they look a bit cheap and plasticy but feel strong underfoot. I tried the conical brake mod that comes with it but I think that just shortens the brake travel and makes it harder to trail brake, best to stick with them the way they are out the box. Most importantly, my lap times have dropped by about 6 seconds compared with using a controller at Monza (previous best was 1:54 in a Ferrari GT3, now it is 1:48, after a month or so of playing ACC with it). Really can't recommend enough, it has made sim racing way more fun for me and I think I'll get years of use of it.

The gold standard mid-range racing wheel.
I have been racing on the PS4 with the Logitech G29 for several months now but it just felt like it was missing something. After reading lots of reviews and looking at several videos I decided to take the plunge and get the T300RS GT. It seems to have slightly shorter USB cables than the G29 but everything else feels far superior. Firstly, you can interchange the wheel for different models just by unlocking a collar. The wheel itself feels heavy and sturdy and the buttons have a very solid feel to them, especially the paddle shifters, although the T300 has a rubber coating and the G29 has a slightly nicer feeling soft-faux-perforated leather in the hand. The base is very solid on the T300 and can be secured with a slightly awkward screw bar or, as i have done, hard-mount it to my playseat using two bolts - not supplied (but the G29 comes with 4 when it only needs 2, which was handy). After playing with the T300 for a short while it quickly became apparent that the wheel had a much heavier feel to the driving and the belt-driven force feedback is much stiffer, without the clunkiness of the gear-driven G29. Although the GT pedals in the T300 look terrible at first sight compared with the G29's, they are actually much more accurate and are more adjustable for your preferred feel, plus they have a rubber conical insert which helps with the stiffness of the brake - while this sounds ridiculous it really makes quite a difference and my braking was more progressive with fewer lock-ups and less need to keep messing with the brake balance. Overall, although slightly more expensive, the T300RS GT is the superior product and you really notice a difference in your lap times when you play. The G29 is still an excellent wheel though and will suit most hobby racers to a T, but for me the T300 RS GT is a much better wheel set.

Good but wonโt last long
This wheel was great when itโs new, however it doesnโt last upon a year, the shifters started playing up. It doesnโt shift properly. The return to Thrustmaster for repair was a painful ordeal. And when finally they send back the repair, the other side of the shifter started the same issue as the first time. Some how I wonder if they just swap over instead of replacing the problem side. Anyway, for so much money and it only really lasted 11 months. I wouldnโt recommend this wheel.

Incredible
having bought a house on my own, I needed something to do to keep me entertained as i sure as hell can't afford to go out to the pub every night anymore and this Steering wheel and pedals fits the bill perfectly (although you obviously need other things like a pc/console and compatible games to use it). It does take a little to set up but you do get decent instructions the only issue i have is the Screw head rounded off so the steering wheel lock does come loose (until i can get a replacement screw). So much fun to use in Gran turismo on the PS5 and if you pair that with a VR headset all i can say is WOW!. incredible. This unit isn't too noisy, having used cheaper set ups this was a concern but it's fine. it does easily connect with no issues as it uses cables.

Worth the wait.
I waited for the T300 RS GT to be back in stock as it seemed to be the best wheel for this price range and I'm glad I did. This is my first ever wheel so I can't really compare it to others, so as someone new to sim racing and have been using it for 2 months now it feels great to drive with. I connect it to my PC and attach it to my desk when I want to use it. PROS: When I clamp it to my desk it's really sturdy and doesn't slip. The wheel is easy to calibrate and the pedals have a nice spring to them. I've used it for the following games and haven't had no issue with response/input. - assetto corsa competizione - F1 2019 and 2020 - iRacing - Project Cars 2 CONS: The pedals underneath have okay grip on my wooden floor, but can easily slip so either prop it against something use put it on a more slip resistant surface. I personally have my swivel chair and pedals on a rug to stop both from sliding/rolling away. I haven't bothered with a sim racing rig due to space. When the cooling fans get going it can give off a smell of silicone which can be annoying.

Review after 1 month use
Quality wise this is nice product. Everything in package works perfect. Do not think you will be driving perfect as soon you plug this in. At first use I thought i just wasted money but after some playing around in the setting of wrc game, i started getting hand of it. Specially sensitivity of the steering. I play at max in wrc which is 10. Also remember to instal the brake stopper that comes in box. Makes huge difference. I enjoyed it alot playing wrc it does immerse you in game. Recommend for even people aged 30+

Thrustmaster is a Bustmaster for this customer
UPDATED: The entire issue was the plug. I did need to spend an additional 11.00 dollars to add the proper plug for US sockets. The wheel is terrific and provides good feedback. The pedals are adequate. I suspect I will someday (soon) be upgrading these. I moved my review up to three stars from one. I remain ticked that I was not made aware that the packaged plug wouldn't work in the US or that a second plug was included in the box. I mean, really... I spent good money for this wheel and pedal kit only to spends hours trying to understand why it will not work with my brand new PC. 1. I was sent the wrong plug. I live in the US but my plug is for the UK. Why? I didn't order any special versions. In fact, I went with the "Amazon" recommendation. 2. I've done every configuration the company lists here: updated firmware, uninstall-reinstall, plug directly into the computer, the wall, etc. The farthest I can get is for the light on the wheel to be green (green = PC) and for the wheel to rotate in one direction only for calibration. Nothing else works. I can see the Thrustmaster app on my computer and my racing sims see the controller too, but nothing happens when I press pedals and/or buttons. 3. Getting in contact with the seller is not an option through Amazon. What? Why? You can with any other company. Hate this product. Just don't understand how in an age of plug-in and play this one is plug in and see your hair go gray.
