This product does a good job for re protecting hiking boots It does the leather good and I use it every second or third boot clean ( I treat and clean boots after every session) It’s a bit unpleasant smelling as you apply ( ok once on boots)and it does appear to be made of mink oil so if you are a vegan or worried about boots not smelling of roses I would say look elsewhere As a waterproofed & nourishing dubbing it’s spot on

This stuff is amazing keeps your boots waterproof and suple if you're spending big money on your boots look after them with this stuff it's amazing

Bought for my leather paraboots and they have been replinished and revived from being used daily in the sun. The oil is almost orderless which is great but the it is only for rehydrating the leather so I would recommend also buying 'beeswax' for more added protection + waterproofing. Looks like it will last a long time but will definitely be buying again once it's gone as the oil is essential and very affordable in my opinion.

A friend told me about this product for keeping your motorcycle boots water tight and supple. It is as good as he said in keeping your boots in good order. It is not the cheapest but money well spent.

Mink Oil Cleaned these boots very well and made them look brand new, week ago I had been on a farm and with all the rain we've had last week's in UK these boots were crapped up in mud,had been left on to dry for days. Very easy to apply spreads easily over the boots, these are Helly Hansen V3 Garabaldi hiking boots,it's a soft leather and it will darken the leather slightly. Picture had been taken after I applied the mink oil and left over night.Only wished I'd had taken a before picture of boots, but I was impressed after applying the mink oil, I didn't think at time I'd be writing a review,so no before picture.We'll worth it for a few pounds 💷
