I got this mat because there was no where I could place my sat nav on the windscreen without it blocking my view. To be honest I had doubts about it sitting securely on my dashboard top which is curved and stippled. The mat is not heavy and not sticky. I thought that a heavy sat nav (6 inch screen) would be top heavy and therefore unstable. However, happily I have been proved wrong. It sits quite securely where i placed it and I have tested it over a few days. Despite stops and starts in everyday driving it stays put. Minimal vibration. So for the price I can say its a good buy. It also looks neat as its simply a flat, black mat, not a bulky, weighted version like some.

Used this ultra-thin dashboard mount in my wife’s car to hold my Road Angel, and it worked just as well as in mine. The non-slip rubber grips securely without adhesives or suction cups, and it’s slim enough to sit flat without obstructing the view. Also has room for a satnav or phone, making it a versatile bit of kit for everyday driving or longer trips. Great value for something so simple - just place it and go. Highly recommended if you want a fuss-free way to mount devices across multiple vehicles.

I was so disappointed when this mat refused to sit anywhere in my BMW 5 Series M Sport G7 2019. The only benefit in struggling to make this mat work was for me to try the simple way and attach via sucker to windscreen, perfect as it sits right behind and a tad above the built in satnav, not paying BMW £200 a year for them to update maps so got a TomTom from Amazon. Can't believe I struggled for 19 days driving through France and Spain with me having to glance down at it's previous position, on windscreen works a treat and in the exact same position I got this mat for, so be warned it does not work with this model of car. The mat seems well made and nicely designed and I'm disappointed I can't use it so back it's going I'm afraid. tj

Bought this to use a a base to mount my Road Angel device. The mat is quite stable and doesnt move around even under heavy cornering. You can improve the 'stickiness' by cleaning the underneath with a wet-wipe and this helps to improve the friction. Can be left in direct sun without issues and is better than a fixed mount if you transfer your gadgets between vehicles. Well recommended.

Absolutely ridiculous, didn’t serve it purpose. Even when i placed it on my dashboard it still couldn’t hold my phone

The dash mount is well made but sits freely on the top of the dashboard. It is not stuck in any way. I was using a new TOM TOM 1 sat nav which is about 6 inches x 4 inches. I was to heavy for the suction bracket which came with it meant to be attached to wind screens. The sat nav mat kept falling over. I have now fitted the sat nav sucker as far back as possible to the centre round smooth part of the matt. Then I have raised the front section of the matt to make it slightly lean backwards. However, if I pull off sharply, or break heavily, the matt will fall over due to the weight and size of the Tom Tom 1.

Excellent-keeps the TomTom in place, giving a good view very sturdy-no falling over. I would purchase again.

En vacances dans les Pyrénées, le taux d'UV est grimpé à 10; la luminosité était très forte et la chaleur difficilement supportable. Le disque autocollant, qui supportait mon GPS, s'est décollé, faisant chuter l'ensemble sur la console centrale, sans dommages. Ce tapis caoutchouté offre une adhérence impeccable pour supporter un de mes GPS (5 ou 7 pouces), route sinueuse ou non !! Un achat utile et qui évitera certainement à beaucoup de gens de perdre leur matériel !
