Love the smell was recommended for my rats cage but is not safe for rats I found out.

The actual bottle isnt packaged stirdy and the whole top of it came off. As a result i received a cardboardbox full of powder. Good job amazpn has refunded me otherwise i would have complained.

I want to share my experience in case it helps others avoid what happened to my guinea pig. Shortly after introducing Beaphar Cage Fresh Granules to his cage, he began losing weight rapidly, dropping from 1200g to just 680g and started drinking excessively. At first, the vet suspected kidney issues. However, when I ran out of the granules, his weight started increasing again. When I bought more and used them again (unaware if they were the cause), he lost another 200g. After closely observing him, I discovered that he was pulling up his bedding and eating the granules from underneath. Since removing them completely, his weight has gone back up and is steadily increasing. He’s much brighter now and eating normally again. This pattern has been consistent and directly linked to the granules being in his cage. These granules may seem harmless, but please be extremely cautious if you have guinea pigs or other small animals who might ingest them. I’ve reported this to Beaphar and my vet for further investigation.

DO NOT BUY it caused respiratory issues for my guinea pigs and they developed laboured breathing and both passed within a week Of each other. Currently in contact with the company to get this removed from sale as it’s dangerous to pets.

This product didn’t work at all it didn’t stop any smell coming from the Guinea pig cage, definitely don’t bother wasting your money

Used this in the bottom of our dwarf hamsters home. It doesnt work! First day after using, same smell coming from Hank the Hamster

Really wanted this to work but unfortunately it did nothing for my dwarf rabbits cage & I clean her very regular. Will not buy again :(

Not suitable for Hamsters. Can cause respiratory illness. Wish I knew before purchasing.

Reduces smell etc but gets everywhere.

Este producto es perfecto para la jaula de las mascotas. Tiene la capacidad de neutralizar los olores de la orina, etc y dejar la jaula fresca mas tiempo. El ambiente es mas agradable para nosotros y para el animal. Antes de usar tenia que cambiar el lecho muy a menudo debido al olor de pequeñas cantidades de orina, a pesar que la mayoría del lecho estaba limpio. Ahora aguanta mas tiempo.

Good,no more smells in my apartment and the pets are happy as well

I've been using this for my guinea pig cages and it works great. I have seven pigs, three of them boys and no one would know I had that many animals in my home until they saw them. I sprinkle it over the base liner and add additional layers of fleece blankets on top. Very good product!
