These look good. Bought two gave the other as gift. They supplement other devices. Do they keep food warm. Yes, as you would expect with lit candles.

Good quality and price. Bought for keeping the veg warm for Christmas lunch. Done the job. Would recommend buying.!

Really pleased with the food warmer. It is simple to use and looks great in the middle of the table. It only holds 1 large dish or 2 medium size dishes and so I'd recommend purchasing more than 1 if looking to use when entertaining groups of people at a dinner party. Uses tea candles to keep the food warmer but doesn't seem to get too hot.

I initially purchased 3 of these as I was having a large family gathering for a sit down meal and placed all three up the middle of a long large table as I needed something to keep the food warm and allow a self service. Although I dont use them on a daily basis I have used them several times already. Apart from using for a sit down meal, I have used and placed on the kitchen worktop when my older son had a few of his friends round for his birthday, they allowed me to prepare in advance dishes of chilli, rice, curry etc and keep them warm while my son and his friends were ready to eat, so I could clear out of the way so's not to cramp their style. These are also good to use if just having a simple take away night infront of the TV, to place on a coffee table to keep for example chinese food warm, I just place the foil cartons onto the warmer and it hold several, (good if your sharing a variety of dishes too). With summer aproaching and hopefully the oppertunity of sunshine and BBQ's I will no doubt use these then to keep the BBQ'd food warm and again offer a self service. I am delighted with mine and if I didnt have three already I would buy more :0) Simple to use with Tea light candles but does the job and makes them portable because they dont need a power source. I would highly recommend!

In general this product does what it needs to do but twice now I have pushed the slider in and assumed that this would extinguish all the candles. It didn’t, one candle was still burning an hour later, the inside of the unit was now full of soot and the handle of the slide was red hot. Be very careful to blow out the candles and don’t rely on the slide, this could be very dangerous.

Wasn’t as big as I thought it would be but worked great for keeping a couple of food dishes warm at our Christmas table.

We're talking about £10 plate warming tray here... For the price, you get a classic design, that's never going to date. A mixture of black and dark gray, the surface finishes are of high quality. The design also optimises low-cost production. This is essentially folded steel plate spot-welded together. It's well done. I use this to keep food warm when at the table, and eat off this tray. I would recommend one of these for each seat at the table at this price. Never have food go cold again. Learning- the nightlites take about 15mins to warm the tray to the ideal temperature, so light them when you start food preparation. So put the top plate under a grill for a couple of minutes and save on the candles. Also put the plates under the grill to start them off. The nightlights are very low cost if you look around, and they can burn for at least 4-off 40-minute meal sessions. Unit easily fits on a standard tea tray, and is about 2 1/2" high. I use it to heat two small plates, but it can also be used for a single large plate, or bowls of stuff. With this design quality, build quality, finish quality and price, you cannot go wrong here.

Love it because it's the size of a big tray, it uses candles and disperses heat very well. It's the second I buy.

Nos pareció muy bonito, sobrio, sencillo y elegante, además de práctico, con sus costados cerrados, que evitarán que se apaguen las velas por la corriente de aire, y por tener una palanca para apagarlas sin tener que levantar la pieza superior, ni soplar. Buenos acabados y buen embalaje. Muy recomendable. En España aún no es algo corriente en las casas particulares, y sin embargo, todo el mundo debería tener un "réchaud" para evitar que se enfríen algunos platos, en la fuente o cacharro en el que se saquen a la mesa.

Eine angenehme Abkehr von den wackeligen Drahtgestellen aus dem Discounter. Der Karbonstahl ist schwer, steht absolut rutschfest und sieht auf dem Tisch wertig aus. Was man vor dem Kauf bedenken sollte: Die Aufwärmzeit: Karbonstahl leitet Wärme gut, braucht aber Masse-bedingt eine Weile, bis er selbst heiß ist. Wer eine kalte Platte auflegt, wartet lange. Mein Tipp: Den Wärmer 5 Minuten vor dem Servieren anzünden. Warmhalten vs. Erhitzen: Es ist ein Warmhalter. Wer erwartet, dass lauwarmes Essen hier wieder dampfend heiß wird, verkennt die Leistung von Teelichten. Für Soßen oder Beilagen in Keramikschalen funktioniert es hervorragend. Pflege: Karbonstahl ist robust, aber die schwarze Beschichtung kann bei unsachgemäßer Reinigung (Scheuerschwamm) leiden. Ein feuchtes Tuch reicht hier völlig aus.
