This does what it's marketed to do. All glares are instantly wiped out with this. Works better with multiple light sources. IMO a little over priced for what it is made of.

My first project was a series of catalog shots of watches. The cone did amazing well at hiding all of the glare. I watched Karl Taylor's video and learned how to add in some reflections using tape. The whole project went amazingly well and only took about 90 minutes instead of an entire day. Well worth it.

Karl Taylor is the King of lighting but I bought 2 large light cones and they both broke on the snaps. The one I'm returning now broke after 1 use. The other one broke after a few uses. Karl! I'm surprised and disappointed. I wanted to buy some V flats and backgrounds, but I'm not so sure now.

After V-Flat was able to replace the damaged model I got, this works well and does what it’s supposed to do. I am thinking of so many ways to use this and will be purchasing other things from V-Flat world.

The VFlat light cone has been an absolute game changer in the way I am able to photograph reflective objects.
