Reflux often occurs because a baby's digestive system is immature. SMA Staydown contains a natural corn starch (maize) which helps the feed settle more easily in baby's tummy. It should be made up with chilled water that has previously been boiled. It is a normal consistency in the bottle and will flow through a standard teat. Consult a care professional before first use and if no change is seen after 2 weeks of use. Important notice: milk is for babies and feeding should continue for as long as possible.
