Are these the plastic sticks or the new paper sticks?

They are now paper (previously plastic)

Are the stems plastic?

No, they’re like a thick card. The packaging says “100% paper sticks”

I only want the ones with blue plastic sticks, what are these please?

White compressed paper. Stop killing our ocean's with your blue plastic sticks.

Hi. Are these the old type cotton buds with the blue plastic stems.

No, they have white stems, and they don't appear to be plastic. More like a hard cardboard material.
