Don't Be Fooled By The Translation of Tsuki-Yo - This Is Quite The Subtlest Blue Black Out There...
I have to admit that my go to Blue Black at the moment is the extremely lovely Diamine BB, which is really effective through all my F and EF nibs. It's saturated, super lubricated and shades beautifully. I saw the Tsuki-Yo and had to buy it at the price offered here on Amazon by Santa in Japan, and I'm glad I did. Don't be misled by translation of 'Moonlight Turquoise' - it's not turquoise - Pilot Tsuki-yo is a beautiful blue black with a hint of turquoise that, through my fine nibbed pens has a lovely greyish green tint to it that is midway between the Diamine BB and a blue that leans towards turquoise slightly, (Diamines Majestic Blue being a case in point). I've just dipped five different fine nibbed pens, and (sad face) unlike my other Irishozuku inks, I can't get it to shade, but the upside is it hardly feathers even on the cheapest papers (T*sco squared notepad being the lightest I tried). And the more I look at it in natural light, the more it resembles Sailors Sei-Boku in colour - just a few shades darker, especially on cream paper, and that can't be a bad thing. It gives a nice crisp line to my script, and it's very satisfying to use, it dries quickly and shows no fading after 48 hours on the windowledge in bright sun. Although it performs well through fine nibs, I know Tsuki-Yo would be stunning through M and B nibs (especially a stub) as this the extra flow would really show this ink off at it's best. I have one B nibbed jinhao that I use purely for comparison purposes and Tsuki-Yo through that is a truly gorgeous blue black without any hint of grey/green, I wish my handwriting fitted fatter nibs, but hey ho. The bottle is beautiful also, with its trademark crystal glass and internal indentation for the nib, and I always smile at that silver grey cord...very classy. Am I pleased with this purchase? Absolutely, this is a nice addition to my collection and an ink that could be used for both personal or business use. Buy it with confidence, it really is that good. Hope this helped.

Pilot iroshisuki ink
This is the most beautiful ink. It is a gorgeous colour of vibrant blue, and is so fluid. It dries quickly on the page, even with a broad nib. It's a huge bottle which will last and last, and the jar looks really elegant. It is also a heavy jar, making it great for a vacuum filler pen, as there's no chance of knocking it over. I would never have bought such an expensive ink before, but as it will last so long, and as it is such high quality, it was a very good purchase. It looks so vibrant on the paper and flows beautifully.

A premium pen deserves a premium ink.
There are many good inks, some not so good and some that are superb. This is the latter. Firstly, the quality. As you creep up the fountain pen quality you start to see what a real writing instrument can do. That is not to say you have to have a great pen to appreciate this, no this ink performs well full stop. As you start using great quality pens however (and I don't mean expensive) you notice that ink can make a very noticeable difference to your handwriting. You wouldn't put supermarket fuel in a sports car, and you really shouldn't use poor quality ink in your pride and joy fountain pen. Well you can, but why would you? The flow of this ink is sublime, and this ensures a steady predictable flow as you write. You really can't get much higher quality and there would be no need; this ink will give superb results time and time again. Compatible as far as I am aware with all types of pen with all types of filling method. I could be wrong, but I have used this with Pilot, Pelikan, Parker, Lamy, Waterman, Conklin, Graf von Faber Castell, Scheaffer, Cross, Swan and even Mont Blanc (ew). Yes I dislike Mont Blanc intensely in all it's incarnations but that's a different story... This ink is the business. Colour wise, it is a wonderful deep shade that really stands out from the usual suspects (Waterman/Quink etc) and definitely has a premium look. I also really like the Bamboo Charcoal black in this range too, if you can find it. It can be a pig to get sometimes. I would give this 10 stars if I could, a great line with some superb colours. I also really like the Ina-ho Rice Ear too, for something quite unique. Enjoy!

Great ink, lovely red with a pink tint.
A beautiful high quality ink. The colour is a little more pinkish than the illustration shows, but looks gorgeous on the page. Would definitely recommend.

Best colour, however expensive
There is no color more beautiful than this cerulean blue, but its price is extremely high, unreasonably high. On a number of other websites, it can be purchased for more than a third less. Therefore, one star less.

A dark, work appropriate, winner of an ink.
I bought this ink from JapanPremium, delivery took about 3 weeks but as this came straight from Japan for very reasonable postage costs I did not mind, it was certainly dispatched very quickly - within a few hours. I love this ink. Predominantly used in a Lamy 2000 medium and it is a good combination. As other reviewers have mentioned it is a very distinct brown. Dark and saturated it screams class and has rapidly replaced Noodler's 54th Massachusetts as my favourite work ink. I never thought I would find a brown that is work appropriate. The flow is great, like all Iroshizuku inks, and there is a touch of shading but not too much to distract. I have experienced a little nib creep if the pen has been pocketed for a while, that sai, it is a very easy ink to clean up and washes off skin very easily. For those who have yet to experience the joy that is having an Iroshizuku bottle on your desk I can only advise that you buy at least one of the line up immediately. They are very impressive in real-life, photos do not do them justice. It would almost be worth having one for ornamental reasons alone so the fact that the ink is fantastic too makes this actually good value. Ok, I may be justifying another bottle but I really am that pleased with it.

One of the best inks!
What can I say about these inks, they are quite simply some of the best inks out there. I have had most of them over the years except black which is one ink i never use, I have the grey(Fuyu-Syogun)instead. They are used in cheap Jinhao pens up to Pelikans/Montblanc and suite all of them. Consistently smooth, wet and never let you down. Yes they are expensive but last ages so go treat yourself, you won't be disappointed.

A Beautiful Ink Which Will Make You Smile.
I had to wait a while for the ink to arrive but it came within the time advised by the seller. So far I have used the ink with a brush and what a wonderful, gorgeous and joy this ink is. I have used it on cream card stock and oh boy the colour is a beautiful striking fuchsia pink. It has a sparkle in it too! It covers well with no bobbling of the card stock when worked with. There is no streaking. It didn't sink through the card stock like alcohol markers so is ideal for card making without the need for layering. The bottle is weighted glass and beautiful, the box is beautiful. This was my first ink of this make and I am overjoyed and will certainly be buying more and trying the other colours. The ink was well packaged in a sturdy box and filled to avoid breakage. Thank you to the seller for a very sound product.

Unique color. Very nice!
The Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-Ryoku ink is a beautiful, deep forest green that looks elegant on the page. It writes incredibly smoothly with great flow, making it a pleasure for everyday use. The color has a nice richness without being too dark or too light. As always, the bottle design is classy and high-quality. A great choice if you want something unique but still professional.

Classy blue ink.
The Pilot Iroshizuku Asa-Gao ink is a beautiful, deep blue that looks crisp and vibrant on the page. It has a nice balance bold enough to stand out but still very professional for everyday writing. The flow is smooth and consistent, making it a pleasure to use with any fountain pen. The bottle is elegant and well-designed. A reliable, classic blue ink with a bit of character.

Buttery smooth & beautiful pigmented inks
Pilot Iroshizuku inks are a joy to use. I use a Pilot Kakuno with Syo-Ro (dew on pine tree), Shin-ryoku (forest green), and Yama-budo (crimson glory vine). They really show off what this line does best: rich color and very smooth, reliable flow. These inks feel buttery and make writing effortless. The colors all feel natural and calming. I'm happy with all 3 color choices: a sophisticated teal, a classic forest green, and a vibrant purple-pink, all with smooth flow and beautiful presence on the page. These are easy to recommend if you enjoy expressive colors that still behave well for everyday use.
