Great for dry 4C hair one of few products that keep my hair moisturised

Such a great product for natural 4c hair. I've seen comments about the lotion being too slimey- I find that quality absolutely great as my hair prefers that kind of slip. When I add an oil (such as warmed shea or olive oil) after applying the lotion, it takes away the slime and my hair feels silkier (this needs to be done on damp hair). A little really does go a long way- I've had this bottle for 7 months now and I think I have one months worth left.

This moisturising lotion feels slippery but not sticky. My hair absorbs it easily. It does not leave any residue or stickiness. I use it in conjunction with the Design Essentials cleanser. I like this range but as I have said elsewhere, it is quite expensive.

I have been using this product about 6 months now and i like how it feels on my hair, it brings back my curl definition and leaves my hair feeling soft and moisturised.

Smells amazing, but whenever I used this it seemed to add to the frizz. It felt and looked quite heavy in my hair too.

I used the Design Essentials daily moisturising lotion as a refresher between wash days. Always had problems finding a refresher that l was satisfied with but this worked amazingly. Only needed to soak my hair under the shower and then applied the lotion. I normally section my hair on wash day but just applied this lotion in one go as l didn't have the time to section. I wasn't expecting it to work as well as it did especially as l didn't section. I was so pleased with the results...great definition, shiny and a light airy feel and the volume l had was to die for! It's a lightweight product which works better on my fine, low porosity, dense strands. I'm mixed race and have 3c/4a hair. Will definitely be stocking up on this one, that's for sure!

This is the second time I am purchasing this product. Although I have a permed hair. I use this product to soften my hair when it's almost due for relaxing.. It makes my hair soft and easier to mantain.

I absolutely love this product, I don’t love the price of it but the results of using are impeccable, I will only purchase this product as long as it is on the shelf and available, I do not like the new and improved product recently put on the one with the yellow writing it’s horrible that they changed the ingredients. Be careful even though it says it’s the same it’s NOT, and it’s frustrating that this issue happens often that we fall in love with a product and the company feels like there is a better way to make it better STOP!! Leave this product alone and go back to the original product. I will never buy the new one again I will stick to this one the old not the so called improvements.

I had purchased this by mistake and put it in for return but Amazon graciously did a no-return refund to me. So i got to keep the product and still got my money back. That was my first experience ever with the no return refund. And so I tried it and it's so amazingly moisturing that I ended up using it everyday now instead of my regular oil. I definitely will order more once this bottle finishes. Thanks Amazon for the experience.

I couldn't wait for delivery so I purchased a bottle at a beauty supply. I am so glad I did. It makes my natural curls snap and glow. My afro looks and feels great. I am ready to face winter when my hair tends to look dry and dusty like a Brillo pad no matter how much moisturizer I would use. My hair seems to absorb this product. It makes my hair color look rich and my hair is shiny without being heavy and greasy. I saw it demonstrated on YouTube and knew I had to have it. I am so glad I did. I highly recommend this product to people with curly to kinky locks. I am very pleased. I think I stick with it for now.

I like this product. I don’t have to use gel and it curls my hair like a gel product. I have 4c hair. My go to product to curl my hair is eco. I hate that eco leaves my hair with hard curls. This product does not leave your hair hard but give girls. I might have use to much the first time as my hair turned white after it dried. The next time I used less and the curls were defined, but I still got a little bit of white film and the product was oily. Turned white on my neck and stains on my shirt. Over all it’s just okay

I read the reviews before I purchased this item and I was not disappointed! I’m 5 months into my braidloc journey and this moisturizer is amazing.
