A compact budget friendly speaker
I purchased these to replace a sound bar that I was using as a pair of speakers after the built-in amp failed. The sound bar sat behind the tv above my work bench but needing more room the tv was mounted on the wall so I started looking for a pair of bookshelf speakers I could also mount on the wall. After a long time searching online through various outlets I found these on Amazon the reviews were good and one review said they benefit greatly being paired with a subwoofer, my setup has a subwoofer so they were ordered. When they arrived I was surprised by the weight, cheap speakers normally have no weight to them. What is not mentioned in the listing is the hanging fixture on the back, just what I needed, no need to put up a couple of small shelves for them. No wire is included with the speakers but the cost of the cable is only a few pounds . After mounting the speakers and connecting to my 2.1 amplifier and powering it on I was very impressed with the clarity of the sound, after a quick rebalance with the sub they provide a much needed upgrade. The sound from the sound bar was reasonable but with a sub these little speakers are excellent with nice crisp highs and well defined mid tones even at higher volume levels, they also look good. I mounted them with self adhesive hooks but after some consideration I put a screw through each of the hooks as I have had them let go after a few weeks. I would highly recommend these speakers as they are easy to setup (just connect them) and place them where you need them and enjoy your music

Excellent !
As the years have gone by, only our 1990's Sony Megastor jukebox, (stackable hifi CD player) survived the various house move 'purges.' As it houses over 300 CDs it is great for background 'random' play music when friends come around. Successfully plugged into the back of various TVs, via its two RCA plugs, it could be selected via the TVs 'component' function, which provided the amplifier function for it. Following the demise of our old TV, my wife decided it was no longer to 'feature' in that area of our living room. I purchased a Lepy LP-2020A as a solution for an old hifi separate needing an amplifier, like us when we no longer had a TV option to connect it to. You can take your 'seperate' into your man cave etc, with your box of CDs and have the music YOU want to listen to ! I teamed it up with a pair of e audio 4" speakers, and just needed some bare ended cabled to link into the quickfit sockets. The setup just described, gives a real crisp sound, with an option for volume that you would have experienced in your youth, and the sound quality through these speakers, REALLY is great !

decent for the price
Solid well made speakers. I know it sounds like heresy, but to get the best out of them, fiddle with the tone settings or other EQ to turn the bass and midrange down a bit and the treble up. That way, they really sparkle. Plenty loud, would work perfectly as rear surrounds or even as a cheaper kitchen/bedroom sound system. I'm running mine through a tiny 12v one channel amp that cost less than a tenner off eBay and I'm totally delighted with how this sounds. I consider myself to be a bit of an audiophile with a mid range decent hi Fi system for main use, so these are never going to compete with that, but for less than £30, including amp, our kitchen never sounded so good!

Great sound from a small price.
I bought these for a back room where background music is usually on. Well, I was surprised as to just how good they were for the price. Okay, they are not "top of the range hi-fi" speakers, but for what I wanted.....perfect.

Ideal for Icom Kenwood Yaesu Rigs
These things are absolutely brilliant. A group of us are using these on Ham Radios and they are sounding just as good; if not better. Than the £100+ Yaesu speakers.

E-Audio Black 4" Full Range Speakers Review
I Bought These As Part Of A Motorcycle Sound System For Listening To Music On The Go, And For The Price They Are Pretty Amazing, The Sound Quality Is Good And Crisp With A Good Range Of Bass, Mid And Treble Which I Didn't Expect From Speakers This Small And Cheap. Connecting Them To A Cheap Two Channel Amp, The Sound Was Crisp And Good, Managing A Range Of Songs And Still Sounding Great. Riding Along At 40-50 MPH, I Can Still Hear Em Playing Away. Overall, If You Want Some Small, Low Price Speakers For Your Waiting Amp, Then These Are A Deffinate Get.

Get what you pay for...
Reading some of the reviews I was expecting these to break the mould somewhat, and impress me with the quality v cost level, but the reality is that they're exactly what I would expect from a £25 set of speakers. They're not terrible, they're just not good enough for my expectations. Definitely lacking in bass, as you would expect. Treble is a bit tinny with some frequencies, mids seem reasonably accurate, but the clarity and precision is overall basically there making them OK for general TV/Movies.
