Dvd remote control
It worked well.It was easy to program to my dvd.Happy with my control.

A complete waste of money
You might as well flush the money down the toilet now. The play button stopped working soon after I started using it. When you push the buttons the power button just flashes and you have to push it multiple times for it to do anything. Good thing I kept the old one.

didn't help with anything
easy to program but with my panasonic dvd player the only buttons that worked were the fast forward/rewind buttons, the pause/unpause buttons and the home button. doesn't really do anything that i can't already do with the buttons built into my dvd player

Easy to program and has no problems with it.
I bought this for a TV for which we couldn't find the remote that belongs to it. It was easy to program without difficulty.

Almost Perfect Remote
*Updating Review. This was what I thought to be a perfect remote until I tried to use the "return" button. Instead of just backing me out of the screen I'm in, it takes me completely out of the app and back to the home screen. So if I'm watching a trailer and hit the "return" button to watch a different trailer, nope, not happening. I'm back to the home screen and have to click on the app to get back in. I had a remote years ago that did that only in Hulu but this one backs me out of all the apps on my TV. I'll keep this remote and use it for my DVD player but I'll be getting a replacement Samsung remote for my TV. Okay, I admit it: I'm a remote snob. The buttons have to be in the right spot. They have to have the right feel and they have to be raised just the right amount. The remote has to be easy to set up and it has to be able to work on everything with no hassle. It has to feel good in my hand and have the right texture. Told you I was a snob. This remote is Perfect! I had it set up in less then a minute. The buttons are perfectly placed and they have the right feel to them. The remote has just the right amount of texture so it doesn't just slide out of my hand. The person who designed this remote knew what they were doing. If only TV and DVD makers would hire people like that. Then we wouldn't end up with tiny remotes or remotes that you hit one button while meaning to hit another because they're just in the wrong place. You know what I'm talking about. :-( No, I didn't get paid to review this remote or get the remote free. This is an honest review for a fantastic remote.

Perfect replacement
Perfect replacement for my Phillips Blu-ray player BDP 5110. It even works on my TV so less controllers to have laying around. Great buy!!

Great replacement remote!!
Okay I cannot begin to describe how satisfied I am with this remote! We just bought a floor display Samsung dvd HD-850 and did not come with the remote. I was able to find one that specifically mentioned that model but cost more than the dvd player so no thanks. I came across this one cheaper and faster shipping. It took me maybe 2-3 minutes to look over the instructions and program the remote to not only the dvd but our TCL Roku tv. Great purchase!
