Swordfish 'Edge 450' A3 10 Sheet Rotary Paper Trimmer/Guillotine Ref: 42014x

This swordfish edge was definitely a good buy. It's light and easy to use. It cuts paper to the size you want. I would definitely 100% recommend buying it.

Arrived quickly and seems to work well - only used it a little bit so far and am happy with the quality of cutting. Lighter than i expected, which initially made me think it was a bit cheaply made, but seems well put together. Usage and the test of time will tell but happy so far.

Bought to replace the dysfunctional Ryman A4 12 sheet guillotine. This is MUCH better. Well made, smooth cut, easy sliding operation and you can see what you your cutting line. The only slight gripe is that you have to use finger tips to press on the pressure guard to avoid catching your hand on the top of the slicer but this is easily done. A very good, well made product at a competitive price. Recommended for moderate to light use. I tend to limit it to about 8 sheets of 80 gsm and it does fine with that and can happily slice a single laminated sheet as well. It's not commercial strength - and not commercial guillotine price either. For home or irregular home office use though, it's just right.

The trimmer is light and easy to use. It was bought to replace one on which the plastic ruler which holds down the paper, had broken. In this day and age when we are urged to re- use and mend things, it was annoying to have to buy a complete new trimmer for the sake of one piece of broken clear plastic. The new trimmer is much the same as the old one, but the plastic ruler is flimsy and will undoubtedly be the first thing that breaks. However, it does the job well enough as long as paper is cut one piece at a time.

Doesn’t cut more than 5 pages if you’re lucky. Cutting wheel keeps coming off the runner and needs to pull apart to fix.

After reading some of the other reviews I was worried about the quality of the cut, but it cuts easily and cleanly through at least 10 sheets of standard 80gsm paper. The only time I've started getting 'feathering' at the lower edges was when I once tried to cut more than about 15 sheets. It cuts 160gsm card easily too, up to about 5 sheets. The guard is very close to where you cut, although not exact. It's better to line up with the edge of the base plate if you require absolute precision. It's much smaller than I was expecting, but still happily cuts 30cm (length of A4) - it is merely more efficient in size than I am used to! Overall, I am very glad I bought this as it is an invaluable classroom tool.

This is a very good piece of equipment for anyone engaged in crafts such as card making, scrap booking etc., Ideal for trimming photographs, learning resources, menus etc., Handy to use alongside a laminator.

This paper cutter is fantastic. I purchased mine on the 3rd February 2014 and I'm just about to order another one as it has just given up on me. But that was being used almost daily for work and I also made our whole wedding stationery using this (lots of thick card, glitter card etc) and it was just wonderful! I bought a cheaper one yesterday which I have just used and it is awful. It failed to cut through one sheet of normal paper - hence why I'm now here to grab another one of these super machines 😊

Es mi primera cortadora y no puedo comparar,pero en general, me ha gustado.Corta bien y la base tiene unas lineas de medida como se aprecia en la foto del producto.Lo que le he encontrado de malo es que la regla de plastico transparente se mueve lateralmente un poco y me resulta algo complicado saber donde exactamente va a hacer el corte cuando no usas las marcas de medida de la base.

Il fait le job ! à la fois léger et stable

Corta bien las primeras hojas. En nada se desafila la cuchilla y deja rebarbas . La devolví al día siguiente. No la recomiendo.

Perfetto per le frange e zig zag . Vale ancora meno di quello che costa. Alquanto insoddisfatta dal prodotto .

This is an excellent product, would thoroughly recommend it, I use it for trimming photographs and it serves its purpose well
