Works great after no mo May
Made short work of my garden after a few months of neglect, reducing it all to length that I could even out with my manual mower. Makes for a very easy tidy up too as it all comes out as long bits rather than lots of tiny ones scattered everywhere. It doesn't come sharpened - you'll need to do this and keep it that way for optimum use, but if you do then this is a wonderful tool. If you dislike the idea of having to sharpen something then this is not the tool for you (seemingly the reason for others rating it poorly).

It is easy to use when it was new and very sharp
No well made at all. The steel used on the blade is flimsy cheap crap the pole/ handle is more like an aluminium washing line pole. The blade you cant sharpen it due to the kind of steel used

Blunt as a golf club.
Lightweight is an issue here. It needs a bit of weight to get through any vegetation. The blade is so blunt it just knocks the straw like grass over it barely cuts anything. It should be supplied with a sharpening stone. I now need to go and buy one of them. Handle could do with being 6 inches longer. You have to stoop to maintain a cutting height less than 6 inches.

Strong handle, works great once properly sharpened
This tool comes with an unfinished blade so will need to be properly ground and sharpened. I spent some time doing this using a file and then a sharpening stone, the finished edge was razor sharp. I was sceptical on how well it would work but it made light work of my overgrown garden and even worked single handed. All the brush was cut at the base so raking after was much easier compared to a strimmer. The handle is very sturdy, stronger than expected, i imagine with careful maintenance each use and it should last a lifetime. I actually prefer using this tool for long overgrown brush to a brush cutter or strimmer it's just as quick and makes less mess. There is replacement blades available which is also great. I highly recommend

Reasonable scythette
Does not cut grass very easily and definitely does not cut anything thicker than grass.

Useless
I bought this hoping it would save my back a little, and also save a little electricity by not using a strimmer. Of course I remembered the scythe my dad used to use, many decades ago, in the days when tools were made sturdily, meant to last long enough to be passed down through the generations, and when the design had been honed through previous generations to do the best job possible. Knowing nothing is made that way anymore I didn't expect to get something that perfect but this is nowhere near up to the job. The handle is much too short, even for me at 5 ft 4, to hold the blade at the best angle without bending over almost double. It certainly won't save my back as I had hoped. It's also too lightweight for the job. Not being very muscular I don't want anything too heavy to lift, but for the job it's meant to do it requires a certain weight behind it. This feels like it wouldn't take much to make it crumble. How I wish some enterprising company would take it upon themselves to make tools the way they were made in my father's day.

Don't buy
It is worthless. It didn't even try to cut the grass and weeds.

Creo que es un poco cara.
Después de usar la mini guadaña creo que es un poco cara para su calidad.
