Gorilla Tripod DJ Disco PA Speaker Stands With Carry Bag

They’re great and lightweight and don’t poke out too much at the bottom like some stands with larger tripods. I think I’ve got a bad habit of over tightening the knobs though because this the second pair of bought. Plenty strong enough for my RCF 735a’s which weigh around 23kg. Great quality for the price.

I purchased these speaker stands for some speakers which I have honestly had since the 90s (they came from Tandy, that’s a clue!). I use them outside for parties once or twice a year now. Before the stands I used to either balance the speakers on furniture or stand them on the floor. This has been a real game-changer after purchasing the pole mounts separately and drilling the bottom of the speakers. I can now mount and position the speakers properly and choose their height which has totally changed the experience when they’re used. The stands are very sturdy and are highly recommended. These have an excellent quality zip carry bag too which allows you to pack the stands up and store safely. I even store speaker cable in the bag too!

I've had the stands for about 6 weeks and done a few gigs with them. So far I've been delighted, they look great, are very light, compact and look more expensive than they were. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that the leg adjustment collar and clamp is made of plastic. At present I'm using a set of Mackie C300 (43lbs weight) which I think is pushing my luck a little with these stands at the leg clamps. I also use a lightweight set of Celestions for practice, these are about 20lbs. I don't think the clamps will have any issue with these or possibly speakers of around 30lbs. Happily I'm changing to a lighter main speaker soon in the 30lb range :) The upper pole is also clamped by a plastic collar, but it also has a metal securing pin that passes through the pole itself at various positions. The pin should ensure no nasty surprises. I would definitely recommend these Gorilla stands. At the price point they are far superior to any others I've seen and believe me I've looked at a few in my time.

Wow! Wow! Wonderful!! Cannot believe there are 2 in one pack. Very sturdy feel and feel... I have not tried it yet but will do soon as possible... My intended use is for a full size PTZ camera, probably weighing 10kg+ and will be hanging off the top of this speaker stand with an arm. I will update with photos but from the ones attached now, you may get an idea of what I’m trying to achieve with a PTZ camera and this speaker stand. But by the way, I can tell with certain things that it will perform or not, and without trying, I know these stands can perform all of my requirements as a stand for my CCTV equipment and can withstand the weight distribution because of the versatility of these stands, it’s amazing and a bargain!

Treppiedi molto stabili e piuttosto compatti. Non si estendono di moltissimo, circa 170cm, ma non andrei oltre il penultimo foro (circa 155cm) sia poiché gli altoparlanti diventano eccessivamente alti, ma anche perché si rischia di piegare il tubo se si hanno altoparlanti molto pesanti. Io li ho testati con due speaker da 17kg e mi trovo molto bene.

Für meine Zwecke absolut gutes und robustes Produkt. Verwende die Ständer für ca. 20kg schwere PA-Boxen. Keine Probleme. Verarbeitung auch ok. Top für diesen Preis!

Muy buenos. Como se ve en la foto, los utilizo en el estudio y para los bolos, de forma continua y sin problema, con unos bafles Mackie y JBL, desde 15kg a 25kg. Peso mínimo, ya con funda de transporte. Y regulables en altura, según la necesidad que tengas. Los recomiendo, y además un precio muy bueno.
