Great stuff. Does the job. Mix with epoxy. Apply and let it dry. Then sand to a smooth finish and paint. Great for any repair to wood.

I’ve used this many times to repair and replace rotten wood in my shed and conservatory. Once the rotten wood is removed, if a replacement piece isn’t available, this filler will fill very deep holes. However, it’s best to semi-fill the cavity with wood and then add a good layer of filler on top. The filler dries in under 30 minutes so it can be easily sanded and shaped before painting. Even after five years, it’s almost impossible to tell where the filler replaced the wood.

It’s great stuff and I’ve used it many times, but why only fill half the tin? If it actually holds 550g of product, why not make the tin smaller? It just feels wasteful.

I have a wooden outdoor bench that needed a lot of tlc. The wood was rotten in so many areas. I'm not a carpenter so I needed a product that would fill the areas where I scraped out, some very deep, but was as strong as wood. This product ticked all boxes. Very easy to use, though be careful it can cure very quickly, if you are doing a large area. Drying time is quick, which means you can sand and paint it, in one day. It is easy to sand down to a smooth even finish. I used a neutral colour as I was painting the bench.

I used this to repair a hole in a hardwood door, which I was left with having scraped out as much of the rotten wood as I could, followed by treatment with Ronseal Wet Rot Wood Hardener. The hole was approximately 3x4 inches and 3/4 inch deep. First of all I hammered in a few galvanised nails to give some extra grip and then mixed up and applied the wood filler to the hole in one batch. The resin and catalyst mixed together easily and it was not too difficult to fill up the hole. However, it was a messy process and wearing rubber gloves turned out to be a wise move. After four hours it had set hard and I sanded it down with a power sander to give a perfect finish. The next day I put on a couple of coats of Ronseal Woodstain, but I will probably need a few more before this patch blends in with the rest of the mahogany stained door. A darker coloured product would have been better. The process was much easier than using a conventional wood filler as: 1. I finished the job with one application 2. It set quickly 3. Sanding was very easy to give a good finish 4. There is no sign of cracking or shrinkage. As a final note I managed to get the stuff all over the tin and lid, and so I have doubts on how well I've sealed it and the remaining filler will probably not last too long on storage. So, if like me you're a messy worker, I would advise you to buy only what you need.

It good to repair but next year it will peals off. Due to rain and sun. After painting water proof paint it started peels off as summer came.

I love it. Ok comes has full by weight so don't worry. Use a stiff bit of card as a board and guess how much you need and scoop it out with a filling/putty knife or something then add a small pea size amount of the hardener and mix together. Keep the metal pot closed for next time. Fill away it smells really harsh but fills wood amazing and rock hard and fill as level as you can unless you like loads of sanding. It sands really well and smooth. I used to on a hole in the plaster board too and it set rock hard and on some plastic sunglasses where the logo fell out. I love the stuff just wear a mask.

The filler fixed the cracks in my frame and holes very easily simple to use don’t use too much hardener as it makes it become solid very fast if your not quick with it use a pea sized drop for a golf ball amount even a bit more but be careful and fast with this it’s great Easy to sand

This this thing is legit and even comes with harder to mix into the wood filler so it really does help with wood issues if you need to fill them
