Keeping my plants watered
Good item only use it for my plants

Some bits seem fragile but works well enough. Do have a trial run before using in anger though.
I needed a pressure sprayer to apply some algae and mould killer to the flags on the patio. This seemed popular on this site - and cheap too - so this is what I got. And it works well enough once it's set up, but you might want to learn from my mistake and fill it with some water for a trial run before using it in anger. This isn't an expensive item and that shows in some parts. The bottle and pump bits are fine but the sprayer parts seem fragile, particularly the tube that connects the handle to the spray head; I suspect that this won't survive me accidentally treading on it, so I'll just have to be careful. Having set it up - that's not complicated and doesn't take long - I filled it with algae killer and water and thought I'd be good to go. This was a mistake - not a huge one, and soon rectified, but a mistake nonetheless. See, the thing is that even when I thought I'd set it up, I found I still needed to make adjustments. Some of the connections needed screwing up a bit tighter, and the spray head which wasn't attached correctly needed to be taken off a reconnected, and then adjusted to give the spray pattern I wanted. Making all these adjustments meant that I and bits of the garden got covered in algae killer solution, which was irritating. It would have been better if I'd put a litre of water in it first and used that to get everything set up and if you buy one of these, I'd recommend that's what you should do. But when I did get it set up and working, it was fine. Because of the fragility of that spray arm I have my doubts about how long it's going to last, but that just means I'll have to try and be less clumsy than usual when I use it. So four stars for this then; it works, I like it and for what you get for the price you pay it's fine but that concern over how long it weill last stops it from getting the full five stars.

Great for Spraying 4:1 ratio mix of Moss Killer. Fantastic Price. Can't go Wrong with this
Wow what a great spray pump for the money. I can't believe this was £7.05. It had such great reviews too so thought I had nothing to lose. It was a great choice. I have often needed one of these and often borrowed my mums, so it was high time I bought my own. I used this for mixing moss killer liquid 4:1 with water. It's so easy to do with this sprayer as its a 5 litre one with the markers of 1,2,3,4 & 5 litre stages up the side of it. I poured the moss killer to the 1 litre marker, poured the 4 parts of water in to the 5 litre marker for a perfect 4:1 ratio mix, then pumped up the pressure and started spraying. It was really easy. This comes with a strap to attach for carrying on your shoulder etc. I just used it as a carrying handle. It's not easy to pick up this canister without out it once it's full. You pump the handle to build up the pressure in the canister, then you can lock the handle into grooves on the lid which then double up as a carrying handle. When spraying and it starts to loose pressure just pump the handle again. There is a little red release valve on the canister too so you can release the pressure once you've finished spraying. The fine mist nozzle/rod did fly off the end of mine on the fist couple of times but that was my fault for not putting the rubber seal up the nozzle rod far enough. It needs to be put about an inch from the end before attaching to the hose part and screwing it on. This is fab for the price and cheaper than any garden centre. If in doubt.....buy it.

okay...
Had a few of these now - not because they are so good but because they are cheap enough to throw away after a few uses. If you use with any type of water / chemical / solvent mixture then they tend to block up and stop working or leak after just a few uses. Maybe if you can be thorough with them and clean them meticulously after usage they may last longer but if you're looking for an easy to use long lasting sprayer then spend the extra money and look for an upgrade - I would say this is light use only.

Dividing by zero
I am in a complex situation here, and I cannot decide on one of the two questions I have about this. Who should I blame, the person who designed it or the person that signed it off for production? This thing is terrible. Due to the scoring system on here, I have to stress that the one star I gave is NOT for the product. Giving the actual pump one star would imply that it has some utility. The one star is for the next-day delivery only, nothing more. As well as not knowing who to blame for this thing existing, I also do not know which bit will break first, but I am guessing the pump shaft. A strand of horsetails hair would have just as much structural integrity as the sub-par and not fir for purpose cheap and nasty plastic that it is made from. It is as sturdy as a wet envelope. It twists and bends even when pumping it really slow trying to keep it all square. I give it a very very short time until it snaps like a dry twig. It is in a fight to be the first to fail with the handle. I do not know how they have managed to find a plastic that is both brittle and flimsy at the same time but they have. The material is pliable to the bare hand. I can feel it flexing and straining, again while being very slow when depressing the plunger. It will either snap in half in the fiddle, or at one of the ends, but either way I see finger injury incoming. It does hole pressure, but everything from the tip to the tube to the handle is just waiting to break. Almost £14 for this thing lol. £14! About 70p will be for materials, 40p for manufacturing costs, and 20p for development costs. Minus postage, the rest is pure profit. It WILL break, and I will be claiming a new one under the warranty. I will keep on doing so until they get the hint that it is complete garbage, and definitely not worth what is being asked d for it. I would probably buy it for £1 at a pound shop, but not any more than that.

Good but the new model has a slight design flaw
They are so reasonably priced I have two of these now. I like to keep one sprayer for weedkiller (check out 'Rosate 36') separate to the one I use for Moss killer (check out Pro-Kleen Iron Sulphate) and Dandilion Killer (check out Verdone). Product packaging is fine and the item was delivered undamaged. Assembly is as simple as screwing in the yellow tube section into the handle. To use, simply add whatever quantity of water you need, then the chemical of choice. Screw in the handle/top using the handle clipped into the top to turn and lock in place. Start pumping, you can feel it getting a little harder to pump when the pressure is getting about right. There is a red pressure release valve that will start hissing if you are over pressurising the unit. Squeeze the trigger (this can be locked in the 'on' position) and you're good to go. When I used this one for the first time, I had a leak from the centre of the handle. It turned out that the rubber seal in the handle (before the trigger) had not been inserted correctly and was crushed and twisted. I re-aligned it and tightened back up and all was fine. I find it quite uncomfortable to wear the sprayer over one shoulder as you need to constantly stop it from swinging forward with one hand so I end up just holding the strap in my hand - it's not a big deal though. The only slight issue I have (and why I have deducted 1 star) is that on the latest one I bought, the hanging strap fits into a slot instead of a hole (see photo). This allows the hanging strap to move closer to the pressure release valve which it then leans on and releases pressure. They should go back to the model with the hole in my opinion. I'm going to fix this by drilling a hole as shown in the photo and fitting the strap ring there instead then it's away from the pressure relief valve. Update: I have since bought the Speak & Jackson sprayer and find that one a little better put together. I would recommend that one over the kingfisher one. I hope you found this review useful, please take a moment to vote accordingly below.

One time use. More like a toy.
Used it for spraying a herbicide on my lawn. Worked ok the first time and then started to leak at the connections. Replaced the rubber seals but did not solve the issue. If you are fine with it being disposable after the first use, then buy it.
