How thick is the foil?

I have used this for the last 4 years the foil is stronger and thicker the foil you get in the shops for wrapping and commercial use

Please can you tell me the actual thickness? This is usually measured in microns or micrometers (mils). Thank you.

Using an old sample from about 4 years ago, I measure approx 40 microns (0.04 mm +/- 0.01). At least double normal "superstrong" foil

why is 3 boxes dearer when if you buy one at a time

I can only think its to do with the postage costs it must take to a higher bracket these are quite heavy 3 would be really heavy

I have not found anything that sticks to this foil - but there is not a non stick side. Excellent foil though - I wouldn't use any other and would highly recommend this to anyone.
